Tom Clancy’s The Division – Ultra Versus Low Comparison Screenshots

Tom Clancy’s The Division is now available and below you can find some comparison screenshots between the game’s Ultra and Low settings. As you can see, the lighting system remains the same in both of these settings. The biggest differences between these two settings are: ambient occlusion, parallax occlusion mapping, shadows and reflections. Ultra images are on the left, whereas Low images are on the right. Enjoy!

        1. Disable any GimpWorks effects you see in game, they are not meant to enhance the game, they are meant to make you feel that you have outdated hardware and you need to buy something more expensive.

    1. There is so little difference in these screenshots that it is a disgrace to gaming. Ultra to low, are you kidding me?

  1. Not huge, but its there. Reduced draw distance, lack of shadows, hidden objects at distance, reduced reflections.

  2. Minimal difference. The game looks like shlt anyway. Crysis in 2007 had higher resolution looking textures than this. I think even Fallout 4.

  3. I’m starting to wonder if there is no difference because of the game or DSO 😀
Every comparison that they post is like that xD Either they pick some really shitty games or idk anymore lol. Back in the day:

    Low gfx= shit looking
    Max gfx =amazing looking

Now its more like the same..

    1. there are differences. Open the in a new tab. Although you’re right to a degree; there aren’t big differences like they used to back in the “Crysis” or “Quake 3” days

      1. I think its because we are not seeing lower end assets being use, like lower poly models. I think the less dramatic difference could be because of this. If the textures are not much different, the models are the same, really the only change is then with lighting and shadows + other effects.

      2. I admit, since i always play on high settings usually.. i never get to see the low settings of most modern games. It is rather shocking how most games look just as good on low. I didn’t wanna blame you btw haH, just sayin 🙂
