The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Offers Stunning Landscapes (Top-Down Aerial Screenshots)

NeoGAF’s member ‘EatChildren‘ has shared some mind-blowing screenshots for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, showing its landscapes from a top-down aerial perspective. EatChildren unlocked the game’s camera and took some aerial shots of Velen/Novigrad, the main Skellige island, and White Orchard. They look phenomenal, so be sure to view them!

  1. I hate this level of aerial surveillance and that definitely
wasn’t me entering that Novigrad brothel yesterday.

  2. If these shots are indeed “in game” but zoomed all the way out, then yes, pretty cool.

I love the fact that games are getting bigger and bigger. I can’t wait for the first truly open world game where distances are actual, textures are unique, but at the same time procedural so that you never have invisible walls.

Imagine playing a game like this, and actually getting lost…
