    1. i5 2500, 660 ti (prefely 3gb of vram) and 8gb ram
      that’s the minimum i believe
even a 780 ti cant lock 60 fps with ENB

  1. I hate screenshots because they never show the
frame rate, how about a video which shows all this GREATNESS,, I bet there is no video coz half of these shots are Photoshopped

      1. But those videos of modded Skyrim don’t look as good as these screenshots. I think he’s referring to videos showing this kind of ultra quality. Unfortunately those videos don’t exist because the framerate hit is huge when you’re running ENB with all effects enabled. These screenshots were taken when the game itself was probably running at less than 10fps.

          1. Videos without compression will still not look anything like those screenshots, I can guarantee it. You simply cannot run Skyrim at that graphical level and get playable framerates without very (and I mean very) high-end hardware.

          2. HA! poor peasant never heard of changing resolution. guess i’ll have to stop playing at 1440p and switch down to 1200p to play this game at 60fps. go back to your potato.

          3. Changing the resolution changes the quality. Changing the quality changes the fidelity. Changing the fidelity means it won’t looks like those screenshots.

Thank you for playing, now get back under your bridge.

          4. That’s what bullshots are, might want to look over at Neogaf for amazing screenshots that are not playable in-game.

          5. Can’t say about bullshots, but I know for a fact that graphics like in the screenshots above are indeed possible in Skyrim using ENB. Just that you won’t be able to play the game with that level of graphical drool.

          6. Like I said, you can but a lot of these type of bullshots are called that for a reason, i.e they have been downsampled so high that they’re not playable, while 1080p is playable.

          7. I doubt native 1080p would look as good though. But even then it would still need a Titan at the very least to even cross 40FPS when running a photorealistic ENB like Natural Lighting or something similar.

          8. I had a Radeon 7950 which could play the game looking like this (Photorealistic ENB, Realistic Lighting, 4K textures etc.) at 1080p and never dropped below 40fps unless I decided to drop all of my treasure at once.

People seem to have a very biased opinion about modded Skyrim.

          9. Which ENB preset were you using exactly? Did you have all the effects enabled in your enbseries.ini? And by the way, I’m not biased. I’m basing this on my observations while creating my own ENB config. You can get your game to look similar to that, but not exactly like that without performance penalties.

          10. I used “A Realistic Hope” which I tweaked a little to look slightly brighter in caves/darker areas, among other things. I’d tell you exactly what I did but that would require looking at the file, and I un-installed it just recently.

          11. I used to use Realistic Hope myself. But it’s based on a very old ENB version, 0.119 I think. It was superseded by Extreme Graphics Vision (made by the same author) which uses later ENB versions along with the additional effects. I think you’ll find RealVision to be a good alternative, given your hardware. Extreme Graphics can be a bit taxing.

          12. I actually upgraded to a 780. What would be your choice, if you had this card?
(FYI, just a normal 780, not a TI)

          13. Well the choice depends on personal taste. Whether you’re going for a bright fantasy look, a natural look or a cold desaturated look etc. If you tell me your preferences in visuals I might be able to suggest some photorealistic (read: demanding) presets that I find visually pleasing along those lines.

          14. I’m more keen for Realism. The colours still need to stand out, however.

          15. I think Kinematic ENB Extensive is what you’re looking for. The colors are absolutely gorgeous with this one. But be warned, this is a very demanding ENB. If your framerate drops during intense combat, don’t hesitate to turn off Ambient Occlusion from the enbseries.ini file. It will still manage to look great nevertheless. Here the download link:

            https://mega.co.nz/#!1BhkTJZT!eeuWN-Gg91xIRx6YQ1wC-E-9HYEYimyy_fCuQDGq69I

After downloading the zipped file, you’ll find a folder called “Quality Optionals” inside. It contains four sub-presets (Standard, Regular, Full and Extreme) which you can use to increase the visual quality even further. You can try and experiment with these if you want to push your card harder, at the cost of framerate of course. Most of the time though, the performance drop isn’t really worth it in my opinion, considering the default settings themselves are so power-hungry.

          16. I have a 770 and I run RealVision ENB with Ultra graphics and several HD textures at average 50 FPS. It’s not that difficult.

          17. RealVision is a performance oriented ENB. It has a lot of effects reduced to produce a playable framerate. Quality oriented ENBs like Natural Lighting and Kountervibe will cut that 50FPS down to around 30.

          18. “Good looks” is subjective. Technically speaking, RealVision is inferior to other quality oriented mods because it doesn’t take full advantage of all that ENB has to offer. But in turn, you get a playable game. I can deal with that.

          19. my shots are not downsamples. Can’t say the same for those other people. I have the original 1080p png file if you like.

          20. Actually in-game graphics can easily look that good. Here’s a good example of how bad youtube destroys a video.

http://youtu.be/B12-9eHO2ww (rendered using 2.5 year old GTX 680)

That 12 minute video @ 1080p is 330mb if you download it off youtube. In contrast, a 12 minute video taken in-game using nVidia shadowplay should be around 6gb (h264, 50mbps, 1080p, 60fps).

            Hmm… 6gb reduced to 330mb… that’s 1/19th the original size.

Think about how much image quality is reduced with that kind of MASSIVE compression.

          21. I never said in-game graphics can’t look that good. I said in-game graphics can’t look that good AND have playable framerate without very high-end hardware. Youtube does compress the videos and lower the quality, but even then the the more demanding ENBs have very steep requirements. Some of them turn off certain effects like occlusion and DOF to produce somewhat comparable visuals for a boost in performance.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention that Youtube videos generally have a framerate of 25-30. While that’s okay for videos, it’s not acceptable for gameplay. So someone might record the gameplay at a suboptimal framerate of 25FPS and then upload it to Youtube without any problems.

          22. Yes but you’re making assumptions about frame-rates without knowing what the actual frame-rate is. I’m also not sure why you think this type of detail is somehow cheap on performance, nobody ever claimed ENB had the same frame-rates as vanilla, it all depends on what quality you want and what frame-rate you’re prepared to give up for that quality.

I’m happy to have much better quality for 40fps-60fps.

          23. Sean, I think you misunderstood my comment a bit. I meant to say that you can’t really judge the game’s actual framerate from the Youtube video. So while the actual framerate may be higher (depending on the hardware), it might also be suboptimal, like 25FPS. While 25FPS is perfectly fine for Youtube, it’s not a playable framerate in the actual game.

And also I’m not comparing th ENB to vanilla. Let’s assume vanilla runs at 60FPS. A performance oriented ENB will run at (for eg.) 40FPS on the same hardware. A quality oriented ENB will bring that down further to 20 on that same machine. So ultimately it depends on what preset you’re using. Now obviously screenshots use the highest quality ENB presets with all the effects enabled, which is why a playable framerate becomes harder and harder to maintain.

Hence people make a small sacrifice in terms of disabling AO, DOF etc. to get playable framerates without reducing quality too much. In the end, it looks far better than vanilla with a reasonable hit in FPS (about a third) on an average.

          24. You’re making assumptions about frame-rates though and it’s a known fact that people make shots like this that are unplayable, hence the term “bullshots”.

You need to put all your effort into making your own game the best instead of criticising screenshots and videos based on your own assumptions.

          25. I don’t get where you found me assuming or criticizing anything. All I am saying is that you cannot have playable framerates if your game actually looks like the above screenshots. Unless you have very high-end hardware like SLI 780s or something. I never said you need the same kind of hardware just to run any ENB. Hell, I myself run Kountervibe (a very demanding ENB) on a 1GB 650Ti Boost with a lot of options disabled and still manage to have Skyrim look wonderful.

          26. That’s why I’ve been referring you to NeoGaf, where they have 4K screenshots that are unplayable just for the fact that they look so nice. You do need that type of hardware to run downsampled Skyrim.

          27. Okay I see. But even without downsampling ENB can get very demanding if you just turn up the effects. AO, DOF and Skylighting will pretty much kill even a Titan when used with HD textures at 1080p.

          28. Well, a Titan has 6GB of VRAM so I doubt it and as long as you have the VRAM spare it’s not an issue with HD textures and you can’t use MSAA with ENB anyway so that’s less VRAM. As long as you still have the CPU to support your hardware and Skyrim being CPU bound then that will help a lot.

          29. You’re correct, VRAM probably wouldn’t be much of an issue (though you can STILL hit close if you’ve got a f*ckton of HD textures and mesh replacements), but GPU usage definitely would.

      2. idiots like you who saying that videos are there, You are a bunch fanboys spitting out dirty of lies. The videos which come the most closeset to these screen are just the players rotating the camera angle on their player standing in the field, there is no GAMEPLAY,no ACTION, no fight against Dragons with these graphics.

The only video that even dares to show action shows it in a freakin dungeon, LOL, yahh that really shows that floral overhaul MOD with ENB.

    1. I dont understand wtf kind of comment this is im sorry. It has no point, its just “boob- girls firght with dragons” like why did you even take a minimum of 3 sec out of you life to type something so pointless, please inform me. Also why the hell does it have 14 likes. Its not even a proper sentence

  2. A lot of skyrim models and terrain are still low poly despite the added ENB effects and larger textures.

    1. Which thanks to the amazing ability of modding you can replace most of with higher poly models. Nexus is filled with them.

  3. Where to downlaod every stuff in this pics? Not only ENB, but the models the sexy lingerie she is wearing etc XD?

    1. The model was created by Krista ( http://cgkrista.blogspot.gr/ ). Do note that it is not safe for work (I’m pretty sure there is a link for that particular model somewhere there, though you will find similar ‘interesting’ characters created by her 😉 )

  4. i hate those idiotic looking “sexy” character models. it looks so out of place and ridiculous.

    1. The sexy female model was actually made by a woman in Russia. She has been learning 3D modeling for a few years now.

      1. Nope, she’s been stealing commercial grade models from places and turning them into game ready items.

  5. Did they turn the Khajiit into anime catgirls?
Either way I think the “sexy” models are worse than the originals which have realistic touches instead of looking like they were photoshopped models.

    1. @PC G4M3R

i used enb with my DS2, but when i combined it with other effects or mods half of my screen goes white 🙁 i’m waiting for more updates and mods to play it again newgame+

      1. yeah ENB for DS2 is still early stages but it probably wont be too long until we get some really impressive bug free visuals.

  6. lol you can easily run those graphics with playable framerates. I have an extreme performance version of my ENB (Serenity ENB) that costs a minimal on performance and deliver advanced graphics for this date game. People often think only the highest settings on ENB filters give those graphics, which is not the case. 85% can already be archieved with medium quality. The last 5% is what eats your hardware. If you have no idea what you are talking about and or how post process injectors work (and mostly how their settings work) I think it’s no wonder you get junk on your screen @ 5 FPS.
