New screenshots released for third-person survival game, Lost Region

Farom Studio has released some new screenshots for its upcoming third-person survival game, Lost Region. These new screenshots showcase some of the animals that will be featured in it (like bears and wolves) as well as the game’s environments.

Lost Region will feature a large world to explore and players will be able to explore every building and visit any corner of the world with area over 64 sq/km.

The game will support up to 100 players per session in its multiplayer mode, will support co-op missions up to 4 players, and will feature a clan system with diplomacy.

Lost Region will be powered by Unreal Engine and Farom Studio aims to take advantage of some of NVIDIA’s GameWorks effects.

Enjoy!

  1. So it’s going to be another one of those PVP based empty husks?.

There are co-op missions, but they sound repeatable and copy+paste, just going off of what these devs are trying to accomplish.

You want a big open world, that’s a third person shooter and 100 players, but you also want co-op.

So which mode gets top priority?, because it sounds like the co-op is going to be tacked on, with the 100 player part posing the most obvious biggest challenge for them to take on.

Why toss in co-op when you’ve clearly put a ton on your plate already?. I mean they can add all they want into their game, it’s their choice, but I want a damn rich experience and no empty husk like areas or feelings from such a game. I also want a far less focus put on trying to copy certain games like Fornite and PuBG. That crown and seat has already been taken. Create a new trend, rather than trying to copy an existing one.

  2. That’s a personal preference. Don’t Starve seemed to be enjoyed by many and that’s a 2.5D-ish survival game. If every survival game was 1st person that’d get boring real fast I think. Gotta have some variety in all genres.
