THQ Nordic has released a new set of screenshots for Darksiders III. Darksiders III is a hack-n-slash third-person action adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The game is developed by Gunfire Games and is slated for a late 2018 release. Enjoy!

If only they had remained faithful to original design by Joe Madreiro. If you read the comics you know what I’m talking about.
Also gameplay looks much slower but I’m not going to judge ATM as it’s still pre alpha.

I honestly think that for a game so early in development, they are willing to show a whole lot of it, and it is not doing them any favors. Okay. We get it. You are making a new one. You got the fans excited. You got the non-fans interested. These early prototypes are killing the hype.
I am sure it will be a great game, like the previous two but the devs gotta know when enough is enough. At this point, the animations are wonky. The character design needs a refresh. The UI is not even in development yet. Gunfire, please do yourself and your game a favor and stop with these half-assed concepts. You have already generated interest by bringing this great franchise back from the brink. Don’t ruin it with your overzealousness.
Indeed. Everything I see just makes me more disappointed. They could’ve just released these screenshots and not shown the gameplay until it was ready. Regardless I am feeling pretty pessimistic from what I’ve seen.
The combat is a bit slow for my taste. Too Dark Souls and not enough Bayonetta.
Why female???? dont get me wrong I love women, but why is this character from Horsemen of Apocalypse a female?
From the 1st Darksiders (Specially the comic) we know that Fury is a female.

Pre-Alpha looks… the lighting is way off and it looks flat.. need more saturation and shadow
