343 Industries has revealed the first PC screenshots for Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST. These screenshots are from a WIP build, meaning that they do not represent the quality of the final versions. Still, they can give you a small idea of what you can expect from these two upcoming Halo games.
Since the flighting stage for Halo 2 has ended, 343 Industries is working on releasing the game. Once Halo 2 is out, the team will focus on Halo 3’s flighting.
Now contrary to Halo and Halo 2, Halo 3 will not be remastered. As such, we’ll be getting the X360 version of it, without any graphical enhancements. So yeah, don’t expect higher quality textures or 3D models. Still, the game will run at 60fps and will let PC gamers to – finally – finish the fight.
Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 will be the final games that 343 Industries will add in Halo: The Master Chief Collection PC. This basically means that the only Halo game that won’t be on the PC is Halo 5: Guardians. Microsoft has not revealed yet whether this game will ever hit the PC. Still, Microsoft will release its next-gen Halo game, Halo Infinite, on the PC in Holiday 2020.

Halo 4 was enough for me. What a major step down. I honestly don’t know how this franchise survived Halo 5, from what I’ve read and seen of it. What galactic turd. If the next Halo doesn’t deliver, it may be about time to stick a fork in old Halo.
Really, the people who were the driving minds behind Halo, are long gone. Same thing that happened to Mass Effect. Very likely that there will never be another Mass Effect which will stand up to the scrutiny of the original trilogy.
BioWare is just a name now, that couldn’t cobble together a good Mass Effect game, if it was handed to them 99% complete by the original creators. Today’s BioWare would find a way to f**k up the entire game with that last 1%.

it was so repetitive and boring. Crap story no grand treasure to find, dont even remember if it had a villain, simplistic combat, no cool buildings to climb the map was empty sea with tiny rocky islands with nothing on them, it was the game it made me give up on ac.

Halo 4 was easily better than Halo 3. The only thing to complain about in 4 was the enemy redesigns and the usable items like Reach. You’re also rose tintign the crap out of every word you say.
ME1 was an abysmal game whose only saving grace was its story. ME2 and 3 were way more playable, although EA turned them into shooters and took out the RPG.
Halo 4 and 5, on the other hand, are great games, with almost no differences between them and the OT. They did absolutely nothing except expand the story and make it better.

Cortana didn’t “ditch” Chief. She died to save his life at the end of 4, a direct result of rampancy that was caused by her merging with the Grave Mind in Halo 3.
In Halo 5, no one really knows – she is somehow reborn or something and takes control of forerunner tech to destroy the universe.

I really don’t care if Halo 3 doesn’t have any improved visuals, the 343 remastered visuals kind of ruin the original art design, though the ones in Halo 2A certainly look more faithful to whatever the hell they were doing in Halo:CEA. And Halo 3 has a great cohesive distinct artstyle that still makes the game look great despite the dated visuals, even after all this time.
I just want to replay the only other good Halo game besides the first one on a system that isn’t sh*t.
They better add matchmaking for every co-op campaign in the MCC or it’s going to be dead on arrival.

Halo 3 is a 13 year old Xbox 360 port without a proper graphics update. I’m not expecting it to look very good. It’s a shame they didn’t keep in line with the past Halo remasters for PC. Makes me think Halo 4 won’t get remastered either.
I can’t remember if Phil Spencer said every game in the MCC would be fully remastered for PC but I think I do recall him saying that all would have improved lighting. So now we get Halo 3, a 13 year old Xbox 360 game without the promised improvements. My guess is Halo 4 will roll out without the promised improvements as well.

Still using Win7, i tried Win10 several times, but man i can’t stand it. the interface is really bad and boring, and plus it eat so much space for no reason 17gb just for future update, wtf is this nonsense?! when i want to install some soft it ask for admin permission knowing i’m the admin!!!

I really wanna buy this collection but the audio bug among other things is such a deal-breaker for me. Also I just loathe the fact that they ended up removing split-screen on the PC version just to boost their sales. Stuff like that annoys the crap out of me. It’s frickin’ 2020. The stereotype that only one person uses a computer at a time or nobody plays on them using controllers needs to go away.
