FIFA 17 – 4K Screenshots

The PC demo for FIFA 17 is currently available and below you can find some 4K screenshots from it. FIFA 17 is powered by DICE’s Frostbite 3 and we are happy to report that it looks better than last year’s offering, and can run with 60fps in 4K on a single GTX980Ti (Ultra settings).

Unfortunately, though, the demo suffers from some gamepad issues. Our Thrustmaster gamepad was not working properly in FIFA 17. The right stick was not functioning at all, and our players were rolling the ball while using the left stick to control them.

Here is hoping that EA Sports will address this issue in the final version of the game.

Those interested can download the uncompressed 4K screenshots from here.

Enjoy!

    1. Hey, but explain to me, how saying that stronger consoles will remove some of the limitations is untrue?

It’s sad that consoles inhibit PC so badly, but it is true.

    2. Most developers can’t afford making a PC exclusive so the PC version is limited by consoles.

Them simply stating the FACT that the new consoles which are much faster compared to the old ones, will allow for better PC ports, makes them idiots?

    3. They are idiots for saying a more powerful system will allow for better graphics?

That’s like saying it’s dumb for someone to say they are upgrading their gpu or cpu to run games at higher graphical settings.

You’re the idiot here. Developers are limited by the current consoles. More power = less limits.

  1. Tried on PC with 4k, PS4 and Xbox one. Honestly the controls feels much more refined in the console versions. Am using the same Xbox one controller on PC and Xbox One. The players just move much more fluidly on xbox one and PS4.
Though PC has the best graphics and no loading times!! I think I will get the console version instead..cuz it’s gameplay felt much more refined overall.

    1. Dont know what are you talking about, its the same gameengine, the game plays the same on both PC and Consoles with the PC being better with better graphics.

      1. Go play Fifa 16 on PC and then on PS4 and tell me you don’t notice a big difference in the feel of the players and controls. It was the same for Fifa 15 however, I’ve not fully tested 17 yet.

And of course the PC graphics are better hell it doesn’t take much to run it in 4k on PC.

        1. Well I have now tested it with 3 different controllers on pc and it is terrible compared to the Ps4 version. The pc controls are sluggish and off in comparison so I mislead no one you typical pc elitist cry baby.

          1. Yeah I’m such a peasant with my 4k sli gaming rig, I’m just not a narrow minded Pc gaming fool that can’t admit that just sometimes a particular game runs better on a console. Pes and Fifa run better on the Ps4 that is just how it is at the moment maybe patches will eventually help.

        2. I agree with you. I have played fifa on consoles and PC every..and I know there’s a difference in the feel of the controls and gameplay…

    2. Are you serious? How can the controls feels more refined on console versions since you use the same controllers on pc and console? Do not get the inferior console version. Do not give money to the enemy(console developers)

      1. It’s the way it is..Since Fifa 11, I have noticed that the PC version in inferior to the console, there has been lacking of animations and lacking of fluidity. I believe it’s because they have to make it work for Keyboard and mouse as well..

    3. He’s right the controls are always smoother on the console editions for some bizarre reason. The PS4 version is usually the smoothest.
