GreenManGaming was kind enough to provide us with a key for F1 2015, and below you can view some comparison screenshots between the game’s Low and Ultra settings. As we can see, there are noticeable differences between these two presets. On Low settings we have lower quality shadows, reflections, LODs, textures and missing effects (like grass sprites, ambient occlusion, anamorphic lens flares and helmet rain drops). Low images are on the left whereas Ultra images are on the right.
Those interested can purchase the game from GMG via the following button.
Enjoy!

Terrible pc version. Avoid. Poorly optimized and full of bugs
Probably because it uses 64bit CEG.
RIP codemasters, they F’ed every good racing games (the only thing they were good at) they had since 2011
I liked Grid autosport, is there something wrong with me?
Nope,it was solid and it seems that DiRT Rally is also good.
no it wasn’t even close to mediocre unless you were born yesterday and Dirt Rally is in alpha, same engine as dirt 2 & 3 in 2015 and same graphics and for now they are alpha testing it on PC
Dirt Rally uses the same new game engine as F1 2015, I read about it the other week there
nope, it uses EGO engine 3, the same engine that used in Grid 2-Grid Autosport-F1 2013 & F1 2014, different between Ego engine 1 to 3 is almost nothing, even Ego 4 which used in F1 2015 is the same.
Oh well then it must have been hot air from a Codemasters interview I read the other week when they said that Dirt Rally is their most modern engine and uses all the same features that will be in F1 2015, that’s why I was thinking it was the latest engine.
To be fair though, there was a lot of PC specific enhancements in Grid Autosport, I was happy enough with it as it ran well and had lots of Directx11 features as well as high resolution texture packs. I think even Dirt Rally looks great, even if it’s bastard hard. 🙂
well it was hot air, at least according to dirt rally’s wikipedia. Grid 2 had nice optimization but the game wasn’t that good, Grid Autosport not so much of optimization (frame drops in sunsets) and that terrible cockpit view just killed it. dirt rally looks old but acceptable and plays great with wheels not so great with controller or keyboard
Yes and I also read today in a performance article that F1 2015 uses an enhanced EGO engine, they did build it up as a totally new engine as well lol.
I didn’t have any issues with Grid Autosport although I do admit they could have been more ambitious with the cockpit view and it seems strange that they didn’t enhance it for PC seeing as they made high resolution texture packs and lots of graphics options.
In any case I won’t be buying F1 2015 as I have too many racing games still to play and I just bought Mario Kart 8 for WiiU as well
Grid Autosport Steam Reviews: Positive (2,623) Negative (769)
2623 people were born yesterday…
i don’t care about reviews, i have my own view and as a grid fan it was mediocre.
:))
nothing wrong with liking a game. any grid game after the first one were disappointing, from grid 2 without cockpit view and super arcady gameplay to autosport with that awful low quality cockpit view which was worst than the first game
Well, the only games from codemaster that interests me are Grid and Dirt. Dirt seem to have gotten a good game, still waiting for the full release. I do hope there is a future for Grid.
