Adventure/stealth game, A Plague Tale: Innocence, gets a new set of beautiful screenshots

Focus Home Interactive has released a new set of screenshots for A Plague Tale: Innocence. According to the press release, Asobo have used their own engine to push current generation hardware as far as possible.

Environments range through medieval castles and villages, catacombs, wasteland battlefields, and verdant forests – each with its own unique look and feel. Characters will react with real emotion to the situations around them, be it Hugo’s fear at his unfamiliar surroundings or the determination of Amicia to save her little brother.

A Plague Tale: Innocence tells a grim and emotional story, sending us on a journey through medieval France, with gameplay blending adventure, action, and stealth, supported by a compelling, moving story. Follow Amicia and Hugo De Rune, two lost children trying to survive a harsh, brutal world plagued by the Black Death. On the run from the Inquisition, and surrounded by the unnatural swarms of rats that appeared with the disease, Amicia and Hugo embark on a rocky journey that will not leave them unscathed.

The game is currently scheduled for a 2019 release.

Enjoy!

    1. Not to mention it’s a very racist game, there are no people of color and they called the plague “Black Death”. Why is this allowed in the current year?

      1. quit crying like a little bich, you remind me of my old grandfather who thought the entire world was conspiring against him.

        1. And as soon as he relaxed, they got him.

Yeah I’m not falling for that, goat, just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get me.

    2. Yeah I noticed a few out of place things as well:

      1. Eyebrows are too neat
      2. Skinny Jeans are too modern
      3. Complex Braid is not practical

    1. I would have called it Rising of the Shadow of the War of the Pague: Origins of Revelations – The Official Game of the Movie – Arcade Edition.

  1. Hm… Small person following a bigger person around + beautiful artistic graphics… Where have I seen that before lol???

Are we getting PS4 exclusives for PC now lmao?

    1. Never got interested in tlou, but this one looks very interesting.
Hope that this one is not just some clone with medieval costume.

      1. Step 1: Look at commercial successful games.
        Step 2: Copy+Paste+change a little.
Step 3: Give name and publish.
Step 4: Watch as the $$$ rolls in.

        1. Sure.
But never saw a game exploring Black Death, it looks an original idea.
And i have a thing with medieval games that have good art and great atmosphere. But the waves of rats look odd and in some way wrong.

  2. Best graphics video games from FHI publisher until now..I hope the game is good since FHI known for mediocre games…

  3. If this was coming from the likes of Naughty Dog or Ninja Theory, I’d plunk down the cash for it TODAY. But FHI + Asobo = wait for the bargain bin. That’s not a good combo. FHI is a 3rd-rate publisher, and Asobo has made nothing but garbage.
