As we’ve already reported, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is playable on PC thanks to the Nintendo Switch emulators. Then, in November 2022, we informed you about a 60fps mod for it. And now, we have an amazing 4K Texture Pack, allowing PC gamers to get the ultimate experience.
Created by NexusMods’ HDPacks, this 4K Texture Pack will overhaul almost all of the game’s textures. It contains DLC content and a whole terrain overhaul. There are also some manual texture adjustments here and there.
In its compressed form, the pack is 13GB in size. Once you unzip it, it will require 27.8GB of free disk space. So, make sure you have enough space. Also, the mod is compatible with update 3.0.1 for both Scarlet and Violet.

It’s worth noting that HDPacks has released similar packs for two other Nintendo Switch games. These are The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. By using them, PC gamers can get the definitive experience on their PC systems.
HD Texture Packs are a must for all older games, especially for those that came out on old consoles. These packs can transform older PS2 titles, like God of War and Dead or Alive 2. It’s funny because I was watching a video about PS2 emulation a couple of days ago. Anyway, I’d like to see more and more 4K Texture Packs for most PS2, N64, PS3, and Nintendo Switch games.
