Private Division has released the first update for The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition which aims to improve its performance. Furthermore, this patch will reduce the shader compilation stutters that PC gamers have been experiencing.
Going into more details, Update 1.1 adjusts settings for Ultra and Very High graphic modes, improving experience for PC players on higher-end graphics cards. In other words, some will consider this optimization as a “downgrade“.

What The Actual FUQ?!!
What did you expect from a studio that can’t optimize at all? A miracle?
under microsoft and an edition that no one asked for yes
Obsidian isn’t handling this version of the game at all.
well if that is the case that would explain a lot
from personal experience Private Division are scumbags
Haha, you got me good bro. I didn’t even buy this game and I’m offended.
I skipped out on it too after seeing the awful character designs. I just don’t have the patience or tolerance for bad art anymore.

consider adding fsr instead of downgrading and let us decide
edit: wtf 50 gb patch on gog that’s the whole f***** game all over again what did you do?!
Given the game engine is 4.27 now, it at least has UE4 TSR.
But official FSR2/DLSS2 would be welcome.
