Star Wars Outlaws feature-2

Star Wars: Outlaws Update 1.5.1 Released, Full Patch Notes

Ubisoft has just released Title Update 1.5.1 for Star Wars: Outlaws, which is 3.3GB in size on PC, and shared its full patch notes. This update adds official support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Gen. So, let’s take a closer look at it.

Patch 1.5.1 brings to the game the faster single Frame Generation tech of DLSS 4 which reduces memory usage for RTX 50 and 40 series GPUs. Plus, it brings the new transformer AI models for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and DLAA for all GeForce RTX GPUs. Thanks to this new transformer model, you’ll have better stability, lighting, and detail in motion.

For those wondering, this was the patch NVIDIA and Ubisoft provided us during the review process of the RTX50 series GPUs. And now, everyone can download it.

As I wrote in my DLSS 4 article, Star Wars: Outlaws was one of the games that played great with Multi-Frame Gen. Even with Multi-Frame Gen X4, I could not spot any major visual artifacts. The game also felt responsive on the NVIDIA RTX 5090 at 4K/Max Ray Tracing with DLSS 4 Performance and Multi-Frame Gen X4.

Other than the implementation of DLSS 4, this update fixes a crashing issue on streaming platforms when traveling to Renpalli Station. And… well… that’s it.

In short, if you don’t own an RTX series GPU, you won’t benefit from this latest update. That’s a bummer as Ubisoft could have at least added some more fixes or tweaks. But hey, it is what it is.

Like always, Steam and Ubisoft Connect will download this update the next time you launch their clients. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
