No Man’s Sky Update 3.5 adds DLSS support, full patch notes revealed

Hello Games has released a new patch for No Man’s Sky that adds support for NVIDIA’s DLSS tech. Thanks to Update 3.5, NVIDIA RTX owners can use DLSS in both VR and non-VR modes.

Additionally, Patch 3.5 adds support for screen space reflection (SSR) technology. Furthermore, it adds new styles of volumetric lights, with coloured and directional volumetrics used to add atmosphere all across the universe. Not only that, but it also adds support for parallax occlusion mapping technology.

Moreover, Update 3.5 overhauls interstellar travel by reworking the audio and visuals of the warp experience. It also enhances and improves all caves and subterranean biomes.

As always, Steam will download Patch 3.5 the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

  1. DLSS tech is a very good innovation, you can see and feel the difference, more FPS and higher sharpness compared to the native resolution, each new version of DLSS is more and more impressive… can’t wait to see the update for Red dead redemption 2 now with DLSS

    1. Yeah its a great tech in the hands of skilled devs who does it right and the uptake have been insane now that there is no need to train the tech for a specific game.

  2. someone wake me up when they finally add a real money auctionhouse to the game. Otherwise it’s a waste of time :()

  3. Glad to see their still sticking with it. Hope they can add more gameplay mechanics and make it a bit more purposeful.

    1. Considering the launch they made up for it but it sure took a good while to bring what was marketed on release
