Gaijin Entertainment and Targem Games today announced Crossout, a new team based multiplayer vehicle combat game, that is currently in pre-alpha on PC. Set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by an alien invasion and human genetic testing gone awry, Crossout aims to test players’ creativity in building, upgrading and customizing deadly armored vehicles to destroy enemies in open player vs player combat. Techland has just announced – via the game’s official FB page – that Hellraid will not be released this year as its development has been put on hold. The Witcher 3 – Patch 1.0.3 Available – Improves Hairworks Performance & Input Responsiveness

CD Projekt RED has released a new patch for the PC version of The Witcher 3. According to its changelog, this patch improves Nvidia Hairworks performance, improves input responsiveness when using keyboard, extends Sharpen Postprocess settings to Off/Normal/High, and boosts texture anisotropy sampling to 16x on Ultra preset. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Looks Glorious in 4K with SweetFX 2.0

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out and PC gamers have been experimenting with SweetFX in order to further enhance its visuals. And while we’ve seen some interesting SweetFX configs, nothing can come close to this unreleased config. It remains a mystery whether this mod will get released – especially since there are so many alternatives – however in our opinion this SweetFX config makes The Witcher 3 look gorgeous. First Teaser Image for the Next “Need for Speed” Title Revealed

Electronic Arts has released a teaser image for the next installment in its Need for Speed series that will be unveiled tomorrow. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Proper Comparison Screenshots Between Final Version & “VGX” Trailer

Remember the Wild Hunt village scene from the game’s VGX trailer? Well, good news is that this scene is present even in the final version of The Witcher 3. The bad news is that this scene shows some of the differences between the VGX trailer and the final build. As always, the smoke effects are the ones that have been severely ‘downgraded. Particles effects are fewer in the final version, and the lighting system seems to have taken a hit. Kudos to NeoGAF’s member ‘JoeLT‘ for sharing the images.
