Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana releases on the PC on April 16th

Last month, we reported that NIS America was planning to release Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on the PC in April 2018. And yesterday, the company revealed that this third person action RPG will finally come to the PC on April 16th.

In Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, players will assume the role of Adol who awakens shipwrecked and stranded on a cursed island. There, he and the other shipwrecked passengers he rescues form a village to challenge fearsome beasts and mysterious ruins on the isolated island. Amidst this, Adol begins to dream of a mysterious blue-haired maiden living in an unknown world.

Players will be able to change their playable character on-the-fly as they battle ferocious foes in lightning-fast combat. Players will also be able to rescue their fellow shipwrecked passengers and bring them to their village where they will provide valuable services.
