We really love when modders introduce new camera perspectives to older games. Back in 2017, we informed you about a mod that enabled a first-person mode in The Witcher 3. And today, we are happy to report that there is a new mod for Dragon Age: Inquisition that lets players experience Bioware’s RPG in first-person perspective.
Created by modder ‘wavebend’, this mod introduces a first-person camera with full body awareness, crosshair, and a toggle feature to switch on the fly between the first-person and third-person perspectives. Naturally, this mod works on both combat and non-combat areas, such as Skyhold.
What’s also really cool here is that in first-person mode, players will be able to manually aim arrows using the crosshair, regardless of whether auto-targeting is active or not.
According to the modder, this realistic first-person mod is not tuned for combat, meaning that players may run into tons of issues while using it. Still, we believe that this is a pretty cool way to re-experience Bioware’s RPG.
Those interested can download this realistic first-person mod for Dragon Age: Inquisition from here, and below you can find its key features.
Have fun!

Can you imagine how cool 1313 would have been… Just thinking about being on Coruscant… Imagine if CDPR got that license
Way way
No way way no
Now you can do fetch quests, be forced to learn a transgender npc life story for some reason, and see horrible looking characters like Sera, Josephine and Cole in first person!
Hope they do one for Andromeda next!
and the next game will be even worse.
Is there a mod that makes origins play like an action game? Like the console version?
I played origins on the 360, i dont remember it controlling like an action game at all
must have confused it with sacred 2 then
i never enjoyed rpgs like i do now before dragon age origins. dragon age origins was the game that hooked me into rpgs and crpgs. dragon age 2 disappointed me and inquisition made me hate rpgs. good job ea, thanks for giving my life back by making shetty games i don’t want to play.
wasteland 2, underail, atom rpg, elex shadowrun trilogy, kingdom come deliverance, planescape numeria, those are good rpgs.
i played and liked wasteland 2 (didn’t beat it because i don’t have patience to sit through a turn base campaign). kcd wasn’t bad either but the rest of games you mentioned aren’t for me. i generally hate turn base games unless it’s total war or xcom or fallout.
Underrail is pretty close to Fallout.
atom rpg is identical to fallout
your definition of close is probably far different than mine. i look for specific details when it comes to games i like.

Isn’t it obvious? So you can feel the disappointment in first person.
DA:Origins was the best… It had everything except tech
