CCP Games, the masterminds behind EVE Online, have unveiled the first in-game footage of their upcoming vampire MMO game, World of Darkness. The footage was revealed at this year’s EVE fanfest and looks amazing, although I have to say that I’m a bit worried about it. You see, whenever I see some promising teasers I get excited and I shouldn’t because that excitement might backfire in the future. Nonetheless, World of Darkness looks interesting, will be based on the same pen and paper RPG ruleset system of Vampire: Masquerade, has a talented team behind it, and will feature hand to hand combat. Enjoy its engine demonstration after the jump.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
