  1. Guys , you should check out new Single Player Space-RTS by Paradox , it’s called “Ancient Space” . It is AAA title with celebrity voice acting and reminds me of Homeworld .

  2. Dishonored is a short game, 8-10 hours are enough unless you do every sidequest. Anyone who plays today evening and a bit during the day tomorrow will be done with the game by Sunday… Maybe they expect to sell DLC.

    1. I understand where you are coming from, but if I might add:
if you really want to enjoy the brilliant game at a not-rushed pace and just explore every bit of the levels etc, just buy the game. 🙂
Its well worth it. I bought it last year in a sale and completed the game in 28 hours.
So 8-10 hours is really not doing honors to this game haha 😛

      1. I bought Dishonored at launch and my total time on Steam is 25 hours. Let’s say 10 of those were spent messing around with physics and alternate routes and 15 hours actually went into quests and sidequests going as stealthy as possible, i.e. SLOW. For someone experienced with Thief etc. who doesn’t reload a save whenever he’s detected there are more like 3 hours + exploration in the game. Get this: Glitchfree (!) speedruns clock in just over half an hour. There are very few games that can be completed that fast without major shortcuts. And the reason lies in the movement, the Blink feature is almost as powerful as HL1 bhopping and yet it’s part of the intended mechanics. Slightly glitched runs of Dishonored take about as long as Half Life 1 runs with bhop. And while HL lets you off the leash for good after its tiresome intro level Dishonored forces you to watch the boat sequences which probably add up to more total time where the player is inactive.

HL1 takes “coolkid” 36:58 minutes with constant glitch-abuse and possibly control scripts, who knows:

Meanwhile Dishonored WR is already faster at 35:33 and the game hasn’t been around that long in speedrun terms:

    2. i never rush through games like that

its one of the most sickening manifestations of modern gaming “woohoo new game let me run through it as fast as possible”
