Brandon Mousseau has released a beta version of a VR Mod for Valheim, allowing you to play this latest title in VR. As the modder noted, this mod adds VR support to Valheim using OpenVR and SteamVR Unity integration.
This mod requires BepInExPack Valheim. BepInEx is a mod framework for Unity games that allows modders to inject their code into the game’s runtime. It also includes Harmony, which is a tools used to patch existing methods in C# libraries. Additionally, you need an HMD that supports OpenVR/SteamVR.
You can download this VR mod from here. You can also find below a video showcasing it in action.
Speaking of Valheim, you may also want to take a look at some other mods. In our previous article, we shared some mods that add unique weapons, new NPCs, selectable heroes & more. Furthermore, PC gamers can download this HD Texture Pack that overhauls more than 255 textures. Here are also all the Best Valheim Mods that you can download right now.

Yeah, same here. I tried The Forest VR and nonVR, it all seems like chores or work to me.
I just don’t get how these grindy time sink games are so popular.
I’ve almost spent 400 hours in this game since launch. each to their own I guess.
It’s super pretty and you get to build a cozy mead hall. Doesn’t hurt that most of the game mechanics are solidly built and tuned to be the simplest, most accessible version of crafting/combat/sailing etc, your progress follows your character between servers Terraria style and friends can boost you quickly to their level so the grind is way lighter than it looks. It’s effectively optional.
It’s more dumb sandbox to hang out in than game, which made late pandemic lockdown the perfect time to launch.
Fair enough each to their own. We all enjoy different games.
Tried it out a few hours ago, its actually quite good. If they can add motion controllers I don’t think I would stop playing.
