It appears that a new Jurassic World game is currently under development. Universal Pictures has trademarked Jurassic World Aftermath on July 14th. While we don’t have enough information, we do know that Jurassic World Aftermath is indeed a video-game.
It’s worth noting that the last official Jurassic World game was Jurassic World Evolution. Jurassic World Evolution was a part building game. Therefore, Jurassic World Aftermath may be its sequel/continuation. After all, Jurassic World Evolution has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide, and met a commercial success.
Some rumors suggest that this may be a new and improved version of the cancelled Jurassic World game, Jurassic World Survivor. Jurassic World Survivor was using Unreal Engine 4 and was a first person ‘Left4Dead’ clone in which players could team up in order to kill dinosaurs.
Now while this may sound cool to some, I’m certain that Jurassic World Aftermath will not be a “Left4Dead” game. After all, we’ve seen in the past few months a lot of 4vs1 games that have failed to meet commercial success. Thus, and from a business viewpoint, it makes no sense to resurrect a project that has already been cancelled.
Let’s hope that Universal Pictures will reveal more details about Jurassic World Aftermath sooner rather than later.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. dinosaurs were cool in the 90’s, let it die.
You can keep your unpopular opinion to yourself
Dinosarus were, are and will be cool, always. You shouldn’t follow trends i guess.
yeah if we always had to base ourselves on current or recent trends, we would all be playing only Battle Royale games now.
But maybe it is a Battle royal game with Dinosaurs
what trends? i play nothing but old games.
Dinosaurs will report you to Pakistani authorities for not liking “them”…
Jurassic world evolution was very good to me even if it was a simplistic park builder being a huge jp fan since i was 4 helped
But the itch of being there as a small fragile human on this deadly island was still not satisfied, tresspasser was the closest and we all know how it ended up, and in 2001 i remember hearing about jurassic park survival and was following its progress until it got cancelled
So until now only dino crisis 1 and 2 were the jp games i always wanted.
If only capcom could get their hand on this license and do a good jp game like re2 remake or re7 with an open world island sorna or nublar with survival horror elements i could die happily.
When I saw “Survivor” I thought you were mentioning Jurassic Park: Survival, a cancelled PS2/Xbox game which was a mix of Survival Horror and 3D platforming.
I hope this is a sequel to Evolution and not a generic action game of which we have many of, I want to see a really good Jurassic Park theme park and Evolution almost was that but was obviously rushed.
Frontier seems to be on the right path with Planet Zoo, so I really hope this is the sequel to Evolution,
I’d like for this one to be a little more of a management game, and less of a super streamlined one. I’d also love for more props and shows to work with.
