I was curious what people were saying on the same topic over at PCGamer and a moderator has shut down the comment section there because he says there are too many comments to “moderate effectively”. What a joke PCGamer has become.
PCGamer turned to crap a long time ago. The “discussion” goes one way: from top (gamejournos/bloggers) to bottom (the reader).
I used to love getting their magazine back in the 90s and they were my go to site for many years but when I noticed that they were sometimes injecting a Politically Correct agenda into their articles then I stopped. I rarely visit the site anymore.
What that mod said about the mods being unable to moderate the comments because there were too many is BS. They routinely get hundreds of comments on articles and well over a thousand on quite a few. They don’t have issues modding those comment sections.
What probably happened is they feared that there would be too many comments that didn’t fall in line with PCGamer’s Politically Correct stance so they shut down the comment section.
