The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project Next-Gen

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project Next-Gen will release in Q2 2023

Modder ‘Halk Hogan PL’ has announced that the first version of his HD Reworked Project for The Witcher 3 Next-Gen will release in Q2 2023.

Now while CD Projekt RED has included the latest version of this mod in the Next-Gen Update, the modder has not stopped working on it.

Halk Hogan PL claimed that the list of changes and new improvements is really long. Moreover, the quality of assets is on a much higher level than you could experience in the last available version of HDRP (12.0 Ultimate).

What’s also cool here is that this upcoming version of HDRP will also work with The Witcher 3 V1.31/1.32. Thus, those that have not upgraded yet (due to the game’s awful optimization issues) will also be able to enjoy the new overhauled textures.

Enjoy the following teaser/announcement trailer, and stay tuned for more!

    1. It’d be easy for me to post a snarky comment of him needing to keep the Patreon and YouTube ad money flowing in. That may be true but his mod is so damn good and is still available for free so I don’t particularly care about those things!

      1. That’s fine, but the dude already achieved the modder’s dream, he’s officially part of the game and still owner of the most popular mod for W3, the teaser comes as the equivalent of self suckery to the point of breaking your own neck and ridiculous.
        We get it.

  1. Thank you John. You confirmed both things for me – that his mod was implemented after all by CDPR (read some pages on his post website and couldn’t find anything but strong rumors) and that he said he’s gonna continue his work on.

    1. If you get the new update, there is a mod folder where your save game file is. The mods used are in there. there’s 30 counting Hogan’s as 1 since it’s in multiple sections.

  2. Excellent news. Many of the better mods (including ‘God Mode’) have already been updated to work with TW3NG and some of those that haven’t thankfully work with it anyway. If only CDPR were as diligent so I’m guessing it’ll be another 6 months until it’s worth playing.

  3. Your article made me suddenly realize that I am writing a thesis on gate.io. After reading your article, I have a different way of thinking, thank you. However, I still have some doubts, can you help me? Thanks.
