I don’t understand, why sims4 always on the top selling list?
UK is full of mad people. >.>
“cray cray”
First time I see this xD
You should never under estimate the selling power of The Sims franchise.
Disturbing.. Most disturbing!
Pretty much hilarious. Dragon’s dogma, the game was pirated 5 days before launch. And is the best selling game.
Strangely it has not Denuvo… hahah
But it would had sold lot more if it had denuvo. Now that all next games on pc will have denuvo sales will be much higher. Many people pirated it intead of buying.
I don’t think so .
He just copy and paste the same crap all over every new thread!
What a F*CKN looser!
Sound as he have family on those fa**ots Denuvo devs huh!
You’re a f’ing idiot, I know people who only bought this after the leak and saw how good the game was.
If it had Denuvo it would have sold 50K less copies and whoever pirated would just wait for that to inevitably happen.
DRM doesnt affect pirates since everything will be cracked one way or another.
It affects legit consumers, get that trought your thick skull.
`Well I currently own many games that are protected by Denuvo so I am a legit user yet I haven’t had a single problem with Denuvo and neither has anyone I know who also buys their games so it seems to me the only people being effected are the pirates as I am perfectly happy and wouldn’t be had I paid money for something that doesn’t work.
Also while I am at it, I know lots of people who pirate all their games , enjoy them even though they have to mess around looking for patches or worrying if the game will crash and stop them from completing it yet they never buy those games ever. In fact one of my friends gave me his Assassins Creed Syndicate code that he got free with his 980ti simply because he had already torrented it. So lets not run around on that high horse full of anecdotal evidence eh?.
I think people give this Denuvo too much attention by referring to it’s referred market nick name alone.
You again..GTFO you retarded DIPSHIT!!
Come on who would pay for Denuvo for a game that is hardly remastered. (coming from a fan)
Yeah really nice. A game have much higher chanse to sell way more then any Denuvo game. Stupid devs dont get it that it only hurt em to use stunts like that. F*CKN morons the are!
I saw a lot of people promoting this game really hard on imageboards and the like the week leading up to the release. I guess all those pirates praising the game, sharing tips, pictures of pawns, videos of their fights, etc. ended up generating more hype than paid reviews.
I believe you are being willfully ignorant, Denuvo hasn’t been produced to ensure the people who support PC gaming still continue to support PC gaming, it has been produced so all those pirates playing 5 days early no longer have that option so need to pay for games instead of leaching from the platform. All you idiots who refuse to acknowledge piracy is holding the PC platform by the nuts are crazy when we had PS4 and XB1 consoles that had only sold 15 million combined in their first year yet many developers were making games using those low selling consoles as the lead platform when there was 110 million active Steam gamers at the time.
Tell me again why this game is coming to PC years late instead of launching along side the console versions years ago looking like it does right now?.
So sick of reading bullsh1t.
Nonsense. Never heard of marketing?
What has marketing got to do with stopping people from being able to pirate a game which forces them to buy it even at a heavily reduced price?.
Games are usually aimed at the console crowd, almost never directed at the PC market. Piracy holding back PC sales are just a excuse from the mega publishers so that they can justify the low sales coming from the platform that they don’t even support or market their games for. On PC you don’t have a $ony or M$ type of company telling “hey how about we throw some money so you are able to develop this game?”
Many times here on DSOG we read reports that the PC market is more lucrative for some of the major publishers yet, we still receiving awful, ports, dreadful support and anti consumer measures.
Piracy never held back PC gaming, lack of support for the platform does.
You are wrong but okay. So let me get this straight, the PC platform outnumbers both “next-gen” consoles 3 to 1 , piracy is not an issue, yet no publisher capitalises on this by marketing the game for PC?.
The PC market may be more lucrative when you include free to play and all those farmville markets but the best we can hope for is to be on par with the console sales with games like say Witcher3.
The publishers don’t capitalize on it because the PC is a independent platform and waaay more open. Everytime a publisher try to capitalize on it, it falls flat on his face because they are considering ALL of the PC gaming crowd one single entity (generalizing) which is absurd.
Well then , if that’s what you believe why give the ole spiel about how publishers make more money from PC knowing full well F2P and the casual Farmvile games inflate the money made from PC?.
You know full well that being able to easily pirate on PC eats into a substantial number of PC sales , especially when just one of the 2 years old consoles is outselling the PC platform and that’s in spite of the fact half of Game’s shelf space is dedicated to second hand games. Or in other words, a 2 years old console which has a rampant second hand market can still outsell the PC versions even when those games were big well known PC games like Witcher3 , then you know the pirates are leaching the market.
I am not stupid, I see PC sales figures for myself, I see how there are many publishers whose soul purpose is to make profits but even then they are okay with pretty much telling PC market to go fcuk it’s self knowing full well they don’t need the market
I mean people on DSOG were all celebrating when we found out PC was outselling the XB1 in “some” games, you know the at the time 10 million selling console that has the worst possible versions of multiplatform games which means even if it had sold 20 million like the PS4 at the time it still would be selling far lower units of third party games than the technically better console.
It is what it is, even if half the people who can afford their games started buying them instead of leaching from the platform then publishers would need us instead of us needing them.
There’s no argument against this, I remember how PC gaming was before the broadband pirates and we didn’t need GPU manufactures like NVIDIA or AMD inventing poorly optimised graphical libraries just to push tech forward so there’s an excuse to buy new hardware…
Dragons Dogma has got potential to be a really good game but the story and pacing are absolutely abysmal, like it was made by an amateur. Despite that though the exploration, particularly with the quite challenging Dark Arisen additions makes me want to keep playing it.
To be fair, Capcom exceeds only on the gameplay, their writing is absolutely dreadful.
I’m a sucker for fluid combat, customization and exploration so I’m willing to forgive a lot in a game that hits those spots as well as DD does. So yeah the story and the characters are very uninteresting, but I just don’t care about that in this sort of game.
Am I the only one that didn’t finish Dragon’s Dogma on xbox back then and doesn’t want to buy it now on PC?
Yes.
#1 we know the sims 4 is the best selling game in the uk.
#2 why are you telling us only uk sales?i dont care about uk game sales.
No one here cares about you, go look elsewhere for stats that make you feel less threatened of PC gaming…
lol have fun with uk sales…lol
I don’t have fun with sales figures of any kind, I have fun buying and enjoying games on my nice PC…
lolololol
Yes LOL indeed, you have given yourself the most pointless task of attempting to antagonise PC gamers knowing full well that they are very contented with their platform which means you will spend lots of time trolling only to get nowhere fast and all because I am assuming envy?.
lol
Stupid britsh charts again! pff

Look it’s really quite simple, people complained it broke SSD’s until around 20 different websites tested it only to find out it was nonsense. People complained that it causes performance issues or stutter yet I could have over 10 Denuvo games yet all my games ran at 60fps despite the fact I only recently replaced my near 6 years old i7 2600 for a 5820k.
So no performance issues, no stutter and no broken SSD’s so how the hell can I be an apologist when I am a happy customer who paid with his own money?.
You can choose not to buy the games or you can even give up PC gaming and go enjoy console gaming as it has more DRM than PC. Sure you can sell your game to someone else but then the console version of the game costs between £10 to £15 more anyway so you would end up paying as much as a smart PC shopper only to end up with no game as it’s sold.
When Denuvo starts causing me the paying customer issues I will be the first to complain, but until then don’t mind me if I am a little cynical of life and believe the people who complain the loudest or spread conspiracy theories are simply trying to drive away sales of Denuvo DRM games hoping the developers will no longer use it.
Right now if you buy your games from Steam , Uplay or Origin you have nothing to fear of Denuvo , you are even assured a refund if anything is does go wrong so…
