Bloober Team has released a new patch for the PC version of The Medium. According to the team, Patch 1.2 adds support for UltraWide (21:9) & SuperUltraWide (32:9) monitors.
As Bloober noted, and due to the design of The Medium (fixed cameras), this implementation was a bit complicated. Still, the team has managed to polish the game for such resolutions, and address any possible graphical glitches.
Additionally, Update 1.2 comes with minor gameplay bug fixes. It also packs minor performance improvements, as well as accessibility improvements.
As always, Steam will download this latest update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

Why does this garbage even need coverage while a masterpiece like Destroy All Humans! latest update wasn’t even covered?
I upvoted your comment. The Medium is a mediocre game at best. It can be finished for 4 hours. It’s good that they’ve kept patching it but for such a short experience with little replay value they should have released the game when it has reached a state of polish and quality we expect.

Thanks!
2 months for such a simple tweak, when users had ultrawide working on any kind of aspect ratio the same day Medium launched. UE4 is so flexible and saves so many dumb developers, it actually brings joy sometimes.
I can’t help but imagine a person using a 32:9 monitor, looking like watching a tennis match while sitting in the middle of the court.
