          1. Actually, Warframe is basically just free. You can pay, but you can get almost everything (with the exception of xp boosters for faster progression) inside the game.

          2. I became Frost in less than a day and Frost prime by the third day I played it. I got everything I wanted for my build in about 2 weeks. You just need to have people to play with. And if you check the chat, there’s (or at least there was) A LOT of helpful people there.

          3. Last time I played, I remember it being extremely time consuming. Did they change it?

          4. No, you just need to get into a guild and go with them to places and get strong fast.

  1. Certainly can’t complain about this, but I still refuse to touch it until they remove the always online component. I’m fine if they want to keep exclusive targets and other small features online, but progress and unlocks should be fully usable online and off.

    1. “I’m fine if they want to keep exclusive targets and other small features online,”

The problem is not that they are online the problem is that they are not available for oyu to play, ever.

      1. Both are issues. Timed exclusive targets are a bad enough idea (especially considering that you only have one shot at some of them), but the always-online portion is likewise just murder.

  2. too bad they got too keep the i.p, would have had a better chance with square giving it too a competent developer. hitman hasnt been good in awhile.

    1. So we are just going to forget Absolution and this new one happened under square’s watch. IO was probably made to follow the “trend” by Square, not the other way around.

      1. I think so too. Do you remember that Square Enix recently said they would go with the “Game as a Service” philosophy?

        To hell with them.

    2. Who is a competent developer that can make a good hitman game though? There are not exactly alot of them.

  3. i feel like paying for games is a mistake these days, i play them for 10 minutes then i’m done, give it couple of months or a year or two and it will be free on somewhere

  4. this game is cracked you can play it all for free not just the start #fkdenuvo #fksquareenix #fkepisodicgames

      1. well. the first episode sold well, after that everyone show how they manage the drm and they did not buy the rest of the episodes. As for entitltement….this game has so many stupid thing in it, denuvo, always online, espisodic content, timed contratcs that its not him who is entittled.

Support the devs…hmm not sure anyone would want to support these practises.

  5. This is a good call for basically all episode based games. I really like to wait for the whole thing to release before i play it.

  6. They are on the right path, Denuvo is gone, First episode is now free, now bring on a proper offline mode. it just shows how s**t Square Enix are/were.

      1. definitely!
        it’s 21.50$ on G 2 A and i might give it a shot after i finish with darkest dungeon’s crimson court

though reviews do not favor the game due to a lack of narrative (it’s a series of missions bundled up togather, there is no story, no contingency

        1. Steam also has a great discount on it, right now, for that matter.

But yeah, Hitman isn’t about the story, it’s about the gameplay. Also, irregardless of the lack of a cohesive narrative, the environments are very engrossing, a lot of NPCs tell their own little stories, etc.

Though I can agree that how each individual level is fashioned as being its own, isolated slice of “time-space” isn’t for everyone, sure. I’d recommend it regardless, of course, but yeah.

          1. yeah personally i kinda need a narrative to fully engross myself with gameplay, even if it’s a basic storyline like dark souls can still do the trick

sadly SE went cheap and scrapped any semblance of a plot in order to make many different environments for as little money possible
and because of the that the game suffers…

still… we get plenty of content for 20$ so i’ed say it’s a good deal
if you got nothing to play at the moment

  7. it’s just the tutorial. the “first episode” is just the tutorial. HAHAHAHAHA. omg I find it so hilarious. they actually charged people for the tutorial.

  8. Hitman 2016 has the potential to surpass Blood Money, depending on how the story unfolds in season 2. The open-ended missions are fantastic and quite impressive!

  9. I played this demo and I’m underwhelmed. They didn’t even give one proper mission to play, just tutorials.

“The download includes absolutely everything that we’ve released for that
location; two story missions (including all cut-scenes), two Escalation
Contracts, more than 40 challenges, 17 achievements and trophies, plus
thousands of player-created missions in Contracts Mode.”

This quote sounded so pompous that it’s ridiculous given what they actually gave us for free.

  10. bad move before this game was cracked, the pirates bought the first episode and used a dlc unlocker to get the rest.

    1. The f*ck does that matter, considering how much of the game is being streamed live into your hard drive.
