Bohemia Interactive revealed details about the military side of their upcoming helicopter game, Take On Helicopters. Bohemia has talked a lot about the civilian aspect of Take On Helicopters which features a strong story mode where you (as the player) are tasked with helping to save the aviation business built up by your father which has fallen on hard times. What many people don’t know however is that there’s also a military feature in the game.
On Bohemia’s website you´ll find a new teaser video slideshow of the military side of Take On Helicopters’ career mode. Although they’re primarily a civil-based chopper game, they also feature military variants of each of their three classes of helicopter, with missions to support them! The slideshow can be viewed at http://takeonthegame.com/take-on-south-asia/
Additionally, Bohemia released a number of high quality screenshots showing scenes from the military based story which are available on their website. Also available is a video slideshow from the military story where you can listen to Joe Larkin recount his memories from his tour of duty in South Asia, where he served with the U.S. Army.
Take on Helicopters is scheduled for a Q4 2011 release on PC.
