Super Meat Boy is now available for free on Epic’s digital store until January 10th

As promised, Epic is currently offering for free Super Meat Boy on its digital store. All you have to do is log in, visit the game’s store page and acquire your free copy. Do note that this is a limited offer that ends on January 10th.

Super Meat Boy is described a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat who’s trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux.

The game comes with a story mode, featuring over 300 levels spanning 5+ chapters, Warp zones that will warp you into other games, over 16 unlockable able and playable characters from popular indie titles such as, Minecraft, Bit.Trip, VVVVVV and Machinarium, epic Boss fights and a Full Level Editor.

Those interested can acquire their free copies from here.

Have fun!

  1. no thanks, gog and steam are the only clients i’ll ever have and as always ubisoft games are pirated even the ones on my steam library.

  2. Dude, what’s your problem ? I’m pretty sure you are doing all this with some intention in mind, but please stop using other member’s username/nick.

Stick to one profile, if you really want to spoil this whole comment section ( @memescausebraindamage).

Do you have a personal vendetta against JOHN ? It wouldn’t be a surprise if this was true, but there is no point in trolling this hard, based on your posting history.

Stop masking other user’s identity. And, why are you doing all this ? If you really HATE/dislike DSOG articles, then you shouldn’t be here, in the first place.

You must be thanking JOHN since he is very lenient, and there is absolutely no moderation done here, else you might have got a perma ban till now.

    1. Idk man…. If I wanted to say something bad about someone publicly and then immediately relieve myself of responsibility for having said it, I’d reply to my own comments just as you did….

      1. It wasn’t hacked. That guy simply changed his profile name to yours and others also. Either Disqus allows people to do that even though it’s obviously wrong to do so or he used some special character in his name that doesn’t appear.

In any case when you hover your cursor over each users avatar you could see that it was 2 different accounts.

  3. Metal cuck Messiah needs to be banned. There is no room for dorky looking girls like her. She has an atoms apple for god sake.

    1. “Mason cuck Miller” needs to be banned. There is no room for scums and trolls like you. Get a life, moron.

    2. “Mason cuck Miller” needs to be banned. There is no room for scums and trolls like you. Get a life, moron.

  4. Dear JOHN,

Please can we have some sort of moderation here on DSOG ?. This guy keeps on posting nonsense and he has been using other LEGIT forum member’s profile/alias/handle….

Right now, he is using my profile alias/pic….Please, don’t ignore this. You have to take some action and ban this user, since he is just abusing you, other members, and your articles…

Till now, he has changed his disqus username/profile many many times, and this is totally unacceptable. YES, I know about the “Unrestrained Policy”, but this has nothing to do with it.

It’s more like an “Impersonation”, trying to misrepresent himself as someone else.

It’s about the reputation of your website. Where does it say users can abuse/troll the website’s owner/staff as well ??

Kindly take action asap. Thanks. I’m pretty sure this is the same guy who posted GORE/adult/obscene pics before as well, IMO. Enough is enough.

This is his original actual profile, @memescausebraindamage:

    1. Spam accounts are obviously not allowed. He has been banned (report other spam accounts so we can ban them if they ever appear again)

    2. Good points. The vote for freedom of speech doesn’t even apply here. The guy had freedom of speech, according to the majority of voters here, to say what he wanted but nowhere in the vote was mentioned freedom to assume another commenters username and avatar to disrupt the comment sections and cause confusion. That’s not freedom of speech.

  5. I don’t understand the point of these freebie single player games that can be pirated at ease on any warez or torrent site but that’s just me lmao. Maybe it should be considered if the powers that be manage to shut down all piracy sites on the internet(but then again, fat chance these sites will go back to offer free games) Btw Super Meat Boy is trash

  6. The Epic store just emanates fail with these hilariously desperate attempts at relevance. Nobody wants to use your store of their own accord, so you GIVE games away and hope people may consider it.

Protip Epic: If your store was worth 1/1000 what you think it is, you wouldn’t have to be BUYING exclusivity to try and force people to use your dump, and you certainly wouldn’t have to give away a free game every week.

Ya, Steam, GoG, EA, and others give away free games on occasion as well, but Epic has been opened what… 2 weeks? They’ve given away more games than they’ve sold. Just stop already. You’re embarrassing yourself.

        1. Are you evolving into some form of human being with a conscience or is this just a rest period before you go back to sh*tting on all of us again?

          Just asking.

        2. Do you ever consider the mood or tolerance level of the people that you have trolled here for sh*ts and giggles?

Stand up straight and be a man. You have been doing well for a few days so I know that you are capable of it.

          1. trolling is shetting on other people’s mood on purpose, why would i care who gets upset and who doesn’t. the most fun i had in a while was when the new troll was here and then he got banned.

      1. Yup, I know it’s free. I wasn’t being serious though. Just a bit sarcastic, lol.

But I still prefer using Steam and GOG anytime of the day, even more than Origin and other stores.

    1. But you’re not buying it. It’s free.

It’s ridiculously cheap on Steam right now for $1.50 if you even want to buy it.
