Street Fighter 6 Cammy Classic Costume

Street Fighter 6 surpasses two million sales in one month

Capcom announced today that the total sales for its latest fighting game, Street Fighter 6, on all platforms are over two million. Street Fighter 6 came out on June 1st, meaning that it took a bit over a month in order to hit its 2 million sales goal.

Street Fighter 6 is the latest part of the iconic fighting series, powered by the RE Engine. Compared to Street Fighter 5, SF6 feels like a next-gen title.

For PC gamers, Capcom has also released a Benchmark Tool that you can download. This tool will let you know whether your PC system is able to run the game.

Unfortunately, Capcom has not shared any platform-specific sales figures for Street Fighter 6. Thus, we don’t really know how well the game sold on PC. After all, SF6 uses the Denuvo anti-tamper tech on PC and we know that a lot of PC players are boycotting the games using it.

Speaking of Street Fighter 6, we also suggest taking a look at the following mods. For instance, there is a mod that lets you skip the grind and instantly get the classic costumes. This is a must-have mod, and we highly recommend downloading it.

Then, we have this cool VR Mod. Furthermore, these two mods attempt to bring a more realistic look to the game. And yes, there are nude mods for pretty much all female/male characters (including Cammy, Chun-Li and Lily).

Stay tuned for more!

  1. 99% is no longer playing it after realising they are just virtual punching bags who would have to train combos for months to be able to compete.

“but this time, it is more accessible”

People fall for it every time.

    1. Sure most casuals will drop after the first week just like any other game. But it’s not like the vast majoriity of players in the game are top players, people are just to focused on higher lvls of play to see that you can find people to play at any level just fine.

You have no idea of how naive you are if you think that combos are the difficult part of fighting games.

      1. people are just to focused on higher lvls of play to see that you can find people to play at any level just fine.

Dumb line. The game has a matchmaker YOU expect people to go around trying to find others to play with, not gonna happen for most. Plus is an “Esport” game, of course many will be focused on that part.

        1. Wtf are you talking about. Have you even played the game ? The game has a ranking system that will find you matches around your skill level within 10 to 15 seconds.

My point was that people will look at gameplay and assume all they need to win is combos (Like OP) since that is the most obvious thing on display to someone not familliar with the genre, when in reality that is one of the less important things. If someone is having trouble winning matches at silver the problem is NOT their combos. Most players will kill themselves if you´re patient, you can climb to diamond without using any combos with just ant-airs, punish counters, neutral and defense.

          1. Are you mentaly deficient? I do not want to offend your sensibilities.

I quoted you, i am talking about the quoted line which still stands.

          2. Are you mentaly deficient ? Do you not have reading comprehension ? Or are you being purposely obtuse ?

          3. Are you mentaly deficient ? Do you not have reading comprehension ? Or are you being purposely obtuse ?

          4. Right back at you sir.

Since YOU are aparently indeed deficient, i am talking about how dumb the quoted line from my previous response is.
Casuals will have a hard time finding people since the game relies on a matchmaker and since it is an Esport game as the casuals leave the harder it will be to find games for them. Being an Esport game ” higher lvls of play” is the main focus of many casuals included.

          5. Spoke as someone who has no idea what he is talking about, the fact that the game relies on matchmaker is what ensures that casuals can find players of similar level. No matter how much players leave unless the game is completly “dead” (around 100 concurrent players. Something that is not even possible anymore since the game has total crossplay across all plataforms) the casual/low skill level pool will always be the biggest,. This has been the case for all FG for more than a decade.

          6. The pot calling the kettle….

Besides hackers an unbalanced matchmaker is the other thing that kill games with certianty.

Do you even know how matchmakers work? I guess a whole decade of people complaining about them and people dropping games in general because of it is just not a thing.Casuals are the 1st to leave/dropped en mass due to percieved “unfairness” of it, the ones that stay for the long run cannot be called Casuals anymore.

          7. As a matter of fact, yes i do. Hackers are barely a thing in the genre, it happens once in a while but is a minor thing and much easily spotted in comparassion to other genres. And like i said the game has a matchmaking that is based on your rank, even if you place outside your “intended” rank it shouldn’t takae more than a dozen matches to place where you belong.

People complaining ? Where ? When ? In witch genre or game ? You know for context ? Because people are stupid. For example the backlash the CoD series experienced when they “introduced” skill-based matchmaking, the reason the backlash was because funnily enough people did not want a balanced match, they wanted to stomp their enemies easilly so that they could have a “good time” whitout “try-harding” every match, now what do you think it would happen to the people on the otherside of said “stomping”.

PS Now if you´re taking percieved “unfairness” into account hen there is nothing you can do about it since people can blame anything and trying to cater to these demands it’s a good way to destroy the game specially since it’s a competitive game in nature.

      2. That’s the easiest part to be honest, the hard part is know when to do the combos, when you should block or play defensive, when to push, know when to do driver moves (or trigger or whatever special bar has X fighting game). The strats to mess with you rival’s mind and know when to change it.

Learning only the combos in training mode is just like learning an isolated math formula without variables. A lot of casual fighting players get stuck in the learning combos part, if they drop on the easiest part I don’t get their opinions about fighting games into consideration.

  2. I’m just curious. I played SF with my son back in the day on his SNES and I beat him almost every match. I didn’t know anything about combos. I just pressed random buttons over and over really fast. He used to get so angry at me because he knew that I didn’t know what the hell I was doing.

I imagine that wouldn’t work today but could someone try it and post back here what happened?
