STRANGER THAN HEAVEN feature-1

STRANGER THAN HEAVEN Will Be Released on January 15

SEGA has revealed that STRANGER THAN HEAVEN will be released on January 15, 2027. To celebrate this announcement, the team has also shared a brand new trailer that you can find below.

STRANGER THAN HEAVEN’s story will unfold across a version of Japan that may have existed in another life altogether, immersing you in 5 sprawling cities, each modeled after real locations of their respective eras.

In the game, you will assume the role of Makoto Daito. According to the devs, players will experience his struggle through the raw brutality of an ever-changing combat system that feels alive.

You will be able to move his left and right sides independently and instinctively as you attack, defend, and force your way to victory. For instance, you can follow a jab with a crushing blow, send enemies flying with a charged attack, tackle them while they stagger, or pin them to the ground and unleash a relentless flurry of punches.

Moreover, you can block enemy strikes with one hand and instantly counter with the other. Reading their moves and creating your own openings will be key to coming out on top.

Additionally, you’ll master and enhance a wide array of weapons. Players will be able to get their hands on knives, hammers, katanas, and more as they fight their way through era after violent era.

SEGA has not revealed the game’s PC requirements yet. However, we do know that it will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
