Steam has removed hundreds of games

Reddit user thomasthe1st has recently posted that Steam is removing hundreds of games from the store, according to the list found on’s Steam tracker. This is probably due to the upcoming Steam autumn sale.

Most of these games are cheap independent titles from small developing teams. Many users were asking for a cleanup for a while now and it seems Valve actually took action.

Of course if you check the list of banned games, you will see Valve did indeed delete games before, but never on such scale.  So let’s hope Valve will continue to moderate content and keep the store clean.

You can see the full list of banned games here and you can also read the original Reddit post here.
