Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order new feature

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel is reportedly releasing in Q4 2022

Industry insider Tom Henderson has reported that the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is planned to release in Q4 2022. While EA has not officially revealed this Star Wars game yet, numerous reports suggest that this will happen in the next few months. In fact, Henderson claims that a May 4th reveal is incredibly possible.

In other EA news, Henderson claims that the next Need for Speed game will release in September/October 2022. Moreover, Henderson claims that Dragon Age won’t be coming out in 2022. Lastly, EA is reportedly very disappointed with how Battlefield 2042 has performed and is “looking at all the options”.

Now as always, we suggest taking everything you read with a grain of salt. Tom Henderson has been a reliable source for leaks. Still, things may change, especially for the Star Wars game (which has not been officially revealed yet).

Stay tuned for more!

    1. Iwas suprised reading about the stutterings. I had zero stutterings, the game run absoluty perfect and I was amazed. Weird, cuz bc I am actually always the one with stutterings lmao

      1. On launch was a stuttery mess, after some patches it was diminished but still there, but that goes with most UE4 games.
I hope the sequel has more variety when it comes to enemies and movement, also characters worth to remember.

    1. That’s inevitable with Disney, but as just a game its considered decent (when you compare it with both Battlefronts and..Squadrons? Jesus, EA did nothing but crap with the IP)

    2. Only because they did a Dark souls clone instead of the usual onlne shooter crap. The last best Star wars game was Kotor2 (and that rushed without proper ending) IMO. Hate to think how they going to violate Kotor remake.

      1. There’s rumors that is going to have Soulslike combat (AKA they will probably reuse Fallen Order animations), not more turn based.
        Is gonna be a mess.

      2. You don’t hire someone like Sam Maggs to not deconstruct a game and she does things like make Communists heroes (see CoD Vanguard), even though they killed 100 million people. Expect cringe humor replacing all the funny lines, irritating quirky characters and LBGTBBQ pushed and forced on you to the point that you are in a gay bar. 100 percent they will change the guy that is racist about aliens to mention LBGT. That is the only use they have for minorities. Equating themselves to people that were slaves to brainwash people with the idea that they are oppressed and not the bullies who want to erase opinion and hijack entertainment. Expect Bastila to me much less flawed as well. Men bad. All the writers are women with no real resume of success with characters or plots. They were hired before a lead and they were hired and probably forwarded from the Lucasfilm Story Group which is also all women and why new Star Wars is trash. See NY Times article on “the women who run Star Wars”. You will find out Rian Johnson stayed with that team to write his garbage film for months.

  1. The first game is the most stuttery POS I have played. Some areas are not too bad but others can have stutter after stutter. All of the big stutters are easily reproducible in the same spots on every single pc I have tried it on over the years. Settings and hardware make no difference. AMD or Nvidia makes no difference either. Every time Digital Foundry talks about the game they mention the stuttering in the pc version.

    1. The consoles stutter in the same places including the PS5/new Xbox. The game is simply loading assets. This will be a problem in any open world game without loading screens and really nice textures, until textures are streamed directly from a decent SSD bypassing the CPU. That is what Direct Storage is about and why the newer Unreal Engine has this tech (JFO was on the previous one). God of War stutters the same way btw. The reason Digital Foundry doesn’t mention it on consoles is when you are playing at 30 FPS with really heavy motion blur, it’s simply not as noticeable. It’s there though. Pc Gamers usually turn off Motion Blur cus it sucks and are playing at much higher FPS. The higher the fps the worse the stuttering is gonna feel on an asset load.

      1. the stutters in this game are nothing like any other game in terms of frequency in severity. there is one area that has six obvious stutters within about 45 seconds of traversing. if you try to maintain 60 fps you will drop into the 40s in the worse of those spots. if you try to maintain 120 fps you will drop into the 70s. in between all those big drops are numerous 1 to 2 fps hitches which are noticeable when using vsync. gsync and freesync do smooth out the little drops but have no impact on the big stutters and in the case of freesync actually made them worse.

the only place in god of war that will stutter for most people is opening up doors and such as that will drive up cpu usage. if you have a good cpu and/or are not trying to maintain high fps then you will not have any real stutter. for instance I play at 60 fps with 9900k and not any stutter from that. in fallen order the stutters have nothing to do with the cpu being loaded up.

the best way for me to run fallen order is to use adaptive vsync from the nvcp. that way I never really see the tiny hitches and mitigate the large stutters enough to consider it mostly playable.

        1. JFO is also way bigger than GoW between doors, and includes multiple levels. The worst stutter I had was the Saw Guerra cutscene, because it looks like it is used to load the zone now (PS5 users report the same thing on reddit), the planet with the boglings especially on a few tightrope lines.always stuttered in the same places and by far the worst is the witch planet in the interior with that big city. Multiple levels and too big an area for the assets. Other than those spots it was pretty smooth on my 5600x and 5000 read SSD. That is with Freesync/Gsync and FPS capped to 75.

Will never be fixed though. EA didn’t even fix an entire campaign of Battlefront 2 being bugged with dead bodies floating in the air. They instead spend money on astroturfing and paying off reddit mods (they actually did this with Battlefront). Basically triple A is trash atm and of course a console exclusive that cost 200 million, is a complete loss on dev cost for marketing, that has to sell a console has better design/less stutter for the asset budget. They also exploit employees make them work insane hours and when they burn out they replace them with a new group of gullible kids that want it on their resume.

Heck even when you have good studios they can go bad in this age of diversity hires and marketing over polish. Look at Witcher 3 and then look at Cyberpunk lol.

  2. Makes sense. Amazon just gave it away for Prime members. For a game this big and on the newer side of their giveaways, it usually means a sequel is forthcoming. I’m less than an hour into it (wish I waited to buy it so I could have got it for $0 from twitch prime) and the intro was great. Looking forward to the rest.

    1. If you just want to play it and not own it, you can get EA Play for 5 bucks for a month and cancel the service immediately and it stays active. Steam makes it really easy to do.

  3. It could be a great game but crappy soulsborne mechanics ruined everything. Just hope the second part will escape it.

  4. Battlefield should have single player campaign, but they too confident with this competitive multiplayer BS…smh
