Star Wars Battlefront – Alpha Build Already Leaked On Torrent Sites

There is no doubt that Star Wars Battlefront is one of the most anticipated games of 2015. And while its closed alpha phase will start tomorrow, this alpha build has already been leaked on torrent sites.

In addition, an image showing the game’s main menu (in this alpha build) has been leaked and can be viewed below (thanks NeoGAF).

Naturally, a lot of PC gamers are already looking at the game’s files in order to find hidden information about this new Battlefront title.

Do note that we will not allow links to torrent sites.

Expect to see tomorrow lots of videos from this closed alpha testing!

  1. Can they even play this on Tunngle?

I just finished downloading my copy off of Origin. 6gb+, ready for tomorrow.

    1. Only 6-7Gb, interesting… I was expecting a lot more. Probably the Final Build will be under 20Gb.

        1. Just because they used denuvo on hardline doesn’t mean they’ll use it on battlefront.

          Duh idiot

          1. Of course they will use it because they bought Denuvo license. Same for Arkham Knight. It´s strong and effective

          2. Well, you guys were wrong. Just give them enough time and they WILL crack it. If you search it up, they have officially cracked it now.

        2. There typically aren’t cracks for online games, regardless of whether it’s Denuvo or not.

I remember reading about how Denuvo works and it has something to do with making it harder to crack the exe, but an online game has another level of protection because your unauthorized computer needs to gain access to their server data in order to connect and play with others.

So, an online Denuvo game is possible to crack, but why would anyone bother going through all that work if all you can do is create your own server (if that’s even an option) and run around all by yourself?

I hope I’m making sense, my coffee is wearing off.

          1. I understand, however BF:H does have a single player, and 3DM who cracked Denuvo didn’t bother doing it. I don’t know why all the hate because I did like the BF:H campaign and will buy the game when it hits the bargain bin.
I think they never really cracked denuvo, they simply made the game think you are running the game offline the second time via origin. Bioware fixed this loophole in later updates so no cracks for future updates which actually improve performance, so imo Denuvo as it stands is pretty much uncracked (unless you want to f*ck with Fifa).

          2. I’m not sure how Denuvo was circumvented, but the games that run Denuvo have had their exe’s altered, which is what Denuvo was created to prevent. So in essence they’ve cracked it.

They probably expanded Denuvo to other files within the game so that it just takes hackers longer to unravel, but it’s probably still possible.

As for Battlefield Hardline, it’s mainly a multiplayer game. The game is built totally around multiplayer, the single player campaign is usually a series of tutorial levels that teach you how to play. No one is buying Battlefield or Call of Duty for singleplayer. Hackers like to spend their time hacking stuff that MOST people will enjoy, and because of the time it takes to crack, those groups prioritize the more popular titles.

Basically hackers are making these developers shoot themselves in the foot because those that enjoy single-player games (like me) won’t buy the multi-player-focused games that these developers feel they’re forced to make. And adding Denuvo or DRM just adds performance issues to legitimate buyers.

It’s a pretty screwed up system we’ve got now, and gamers (PC gamers in particular) are usually the ones that suffer because of it. It’s all very interesting to watch unfold!

    1. why should they bother with denuvo isn’t it an online game only? unless you were thinking about private servers if possible.

          1. Yeah i know, but its like CoD imo, most of the players don’t care about the campaign.

          2. that doesn’t matter. as long as it has offline singleplayer they want to add Denuvo to it.

their switch to online only and their interest in it in fact is their ultimate DRM like what Blizzard is doing.

        1. Screen tearing galore…dont understand bragging about a over limit of FPS when your monitor is well below it. And if you have a 120/144hz monitor, 90 isn’t something to brag about…

          1. depends on the game engine even if you got a 60Hz monitor in some games it will feel much smoother and better over 60 FPS as for example this game frostibite engine and also CS:GO source engine!

          1. 1920x1080p Ultra 2x MSAA 70+ you will see on my youtube channel i just love my monster GTX 680 <3

          2. ya, DICE said “anything under GTX 980 ti on swbf3 = 10fps”

          3. i have 80+ FPS with GTX 680 on Ultra and aa a bit down 1920x1080p 🙂
            i love DICE games !

          4. Dude, the 680 isn’t that powerful. It’s a nice card and all, but it’s old. I have a 7950 with a massive OC and I need to upgrade, probably to a 390X. Chill out. Good card, but definitely not a monster.

A monster is a 980Ti/Titan X/Fury X. You’ll get 60fps, but at the end of the day that’s because the game runs well on most semi decent configurations, not because you have a ridiculously powerful system.

      1. Probably won’t be any more demanding than BF4 and consoles can only do 900p with that engine with the battlefield games anyway.

        1. Yea true and it looks a lot better than that scam and pathetic shame of pcmasterace community called Witcher 3(x64)
          poor SH*T gipsy Poland= CDPR
rich and good guys R* /DICE sweden and also poor but honest and extremely good devs Croteam respect 🙂

          1. Can’t really have a proper conversation with you because you’re too biased towards your 680 and certain companies. Use proper ultra settings in GTA 5 with ultra grass and tell me it runs better than TW3 in grassy areas.

    1. dude shut up my laptop dominates your sh**ty desktop graphics card and you dont see me spamming a forum with your crap STFU and GTFO.

  2. I remember Dragon Age (the latest one) running beautifully on my 670. It wasn’t maxed but it still looked phenomenal. I’m very impressed with that engine. It seems to be shader-efficient, and modern graphics cards (like the Nvidia 200-600 series) have been described as shader-optimized hardware.

  3. Whether pirates can play this will depend on whether there are bots in offline mode. Titanfall, for instance, has all the bot AI running off their servers, so even if they had a single-player campaign you would need an internet connection and server access.

  4. An engine by itself doesn’t guarantee performance, otherwise Arkham Knight would be running on hardware that came out eleven years ago, the same time as Unreal Engine 3.

    1. its over now anyway finished sunday, was fun dude but your better of waiting for the final product, had one map and game mode for MP and one map for missions (co op and single player hoard style game type) was fun, deff makes me want to buy it on launch but totally not worth buying an origin account over your better getting a halo online key for the russian beta currently on going, yeah its russian but its easy to work it out.

    1. My laptop beats it too. I have both a tower and laptop (5 PCs in total, actually). There’s nothing wrong with a decent laptop.

    2. yeah exactly, so imagine how i felt reading your comments lol your rig is sh*t my laptop makes your rig look like a gamecube, my desktop makes yours look like a playstation one, you enjoy 1080p im happy in 4k

  5. 3dm they are soon to jump the gun. They wont wait till the patches are released. So they have to start the process from the scratch and that’s just nerve wrecking. I hope the next release would be only at mid-december. After major games have been released.
