Degica has released a free PC demo for latest version of TAITO’s Space Invaders, Space Invaders Extreme. Space Invaders Extreme is a modern-day version of this classic title, featuring pulsing, vibrant visuals enhanced further by interactive sound.

Space Invaders Extreme was released on Steam on February 13th and features 16 stages brimming with devious invader attack patterns and bosses whose strategy adapts according to the game difficulty, hidden bonuses via which players can boost their scores, and Free Play and Arcade Modes. It’s also worth noting that the Steam version adds a brand new World Ranking System for Arcade Mode.

I had this game on my PSP 10 years ago. It’s alright. Charging people money for it would be absurd though.
A fun little game on DS (especially so when using the Taito spinner controller) and PSP.
Who needs a demo for Space Invaders? If you have a demo, you’re not ever going to play the game, it’s Space Invaders. You were probably born 20 years after it came out.
