Blumhouse Games has announced a new psychological thriller from the director of Spec Ops: The Line, called Sleep Awake. The publisher has just shared its debut trailer, showcasing its blend of FMV and 3D, as well as its brain-melting industrial soundscape.
Sleep Awake is a first-person horror game with a strange and creepy story. It takes you on a journey through the world between sleep and death. The game is meant to feel intense and mysterious.
In the last city on Earth, people can’t sleep and are getting very scared. They are doing risky experiments to stop something called The HUSH, which makes people who fall asleep disappear without a trace.
You play as Katja, trying to stay awake and survive against scary death cult followers. You will solve puzzles in this strange world while avoiding the cults, and try to stop the terrible things from the past.
The game aims to show a beautiful but scary world caught between a broken real place and a strange otherworld. Katja will face the pain of losing her family to The Swell in the ruined city called The Crush, where the worst thing is not death, but falling asleep.
Sleep Awake will offer a unique and very creepy horror experience. Players will explore and solve puzzles in a strange, twisted world. They will need to survive scary enemy encounters by using stealth, careful planning, and running away when needed.
It looks interesting, so be sure to check it out.
Enjoy!
