Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gods & Kings announced and coming in Spring 2012


2K Games has just revealed a new expansion for Civilization V. Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gods & Kings is the first expansion for 2K Games’ acclaimed strategy game and is currently slated for a late Spring 2012 release. Gods & Kings will add more techs, units, buildings, Wonders, and playable Civilizations.
Civilization V: Gods & Kings will feature 27 new units, 13 new buildings, 9 new wonders, and 9 new playable civilizations. Among the new civilizations are the Netherlands (William I, Prince of Orange), the Celts (Boudicca), and the Mayans (Pacal the Great).
Moreover, Gods & Kings will feature a Religion system. Using the new “Faith” resource, players will be able to found their own religion and grow it from a simple Pantheon of the Gods to a world-spanning fully-customized religion.
Gods & Kings will also feature enhanced Diplomacy, with Espionage, a reworked Combat System, New City-States and three new Scenarios
