We recently informed you regarding some new details of the upcoming Resident Evil 8. According to BHd, the title will feature the subtitle, Village. This is possibly a working title, meaning it could end up being different.
BHd also provided some information about the characters. First of all, the protagonist will probably be the same guy from Resident Evil 7. You know, Ethan, that guy no one knows. Chris Redfield is also back, and he will have an integral part in the game.
Chris appears in flashbacks surrounding Ethan and his girlfriend. You know, Mia, that crazy bitch that stabbed you and cut off your freaking hand. Thank god for convenient surgical staplers.
Ethan and Mia now have a baby, but it is unclear what the baby has to do with the narrative. Also, Chris doesn’t look the same as before. This time he looks less heroic than he usually does. He can be seen shooting at Ethan and Mia in a flashback sequence. Don’t worry, I’m pretty sure the baby survives.
Lastly, it looks like Capcom is playing with the concept of inventory management yet again. According to BHd, Capcom is testing both a Resident Evil 7 style UI alongside a Resident Evil 4 style.
So maybe Resident Evil 4 is also getting a remake? Maybe, but until then take everything with a grain of salt. We will make sure to let you know if anything else comes up.

So again following a character that is no one nice
RE engine’s lighting and physics (and also the depth of field) that made Ethan’s hands look so realistic were simply second to none. the way Ethan would handle weapons and his firm grip on the gun alone was enough incentive for me to finish the entire game twice.
It will be about a schizophrenic guy who’s trying to buy some toilet paper, but since there’s none, he will be invading houses to steal, killing people in the process cause he thinks they’re all zombies.
The gameplay was ok, for me the problem was the “lost universe”. Doesn’t look like a RE universe.
I’m sure that Capcom will return to a most recognizable lore with canonical RE characters,but with RE7 the franchise needed a breath of fresh air, I know…so they did well to introduce both a new character and a first-person view …
If Capcom remakes 4 instead of CV, I’ll boycott RE for good.

Not only did you repurpose Revelations 3 to masquerade as RE 8, but now you have one of the most idiotic names on it to boot.
Capcom stop doing remakes. They are getting worse the last RE3 turned out to be twice as bad as the last! Do Resident Evil as recently RE7 in FPP not TPP. TPP destroys the atmosphere of the game.
