Resident Evil Village & Elden Ring have sold 6.1 and 13.4 million copies, respectively

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Village has sold 6.1 million copies worldwide on all platforms. Similarly, Bandai Namco revealed that as of March 2022, it has shipped 13.4 million copies of Elden Ring.

Since these sales figures for Elden Ring are not up to date, we can assume that its overall sales are higher than that. We can also assume, given its Steam charts/results, that the game has sold well on the PC.

Capcom has also revealed that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has sold 1.5 million units worldwide on both Nintendo Switch and PC.

Lastly, and speaking of sales numbers, Stardew Valley has sold 20 million copies. According to ConcernedApe, the PC version sold 13 million copies (which is more than half of the total sales).

    1. The game is a masterpiece that has absolutely nothing coming close to it in world design. The game is only lacking in weapon balance. Some items let you cheese through the whole game and others make you play perfect and need to be incredible.

      1. Have to agree with the world design part, though. But the engine is crappy, imo. If you enter a corridor, you can’t tell if there’s an exit at the end, without having to walk trough it entirely. But mods will do its things and in a couple years we’ll be able to play this with decent graphics.

  1. I’m not surprised to see Elden Ring having high sales numbers. iirc the game sold around 12 million copies during the first couple of weeks after release. The game also got excellent reviews.

  2. I believe it harmed the sales and took attention away from Horizon Forbidden West also. That is an added bonus.
