In December 2019, we informed you about a rumour regarding a possible PC release for the Playstation 4-exclusive game, Horizon Zero Dawn. And today, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has confirmed these rumours.
According to Schreier’s sources, Horizon Zero Dawn will be indeed coming to the PC in 2020. However, don’t expect to see this game in February 2020 as the earlier rumour suggested.
As Schreier wrote on Kotaku:
“This news comes from three people familiar with Sony’s plans, all speaking anonymously because they were not authorized to talk to press. Sony did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”
It’s worth noting that Sony has released some games on the PC via Epic Games Store. As such, it will be interesting to see whether Horizon Zero Dawn will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
Sony and Guerrilla Games have not commented yet on this report. We’ll be sure to keep you posted, so stay tuned for more!

I just finished playing Demon’s Souls on PC in 4K. Holds up very well for a 2009 game, and is still fun as hell.

Nice! The changes in the unofficial patch all sound good, especially rolling in the swamp. Make sure you unlock the frame rate to 60 fps if your CPU can handle it, it helps quite a bit.

For sure. I played it on a standard PS4 I borrowed off my friend, and the frame rate was really poor most of the time, especially with lots of action on the screen.
It was a steady 30 fps 99% of the time even with lots of action on screen.

I believe some of the game logic is coded around 30 fps. It was mentioned in a Digital Foundry video (based on developer interviews), but I watched it a few years ago. Hopefully they can fix it, kind of a pointless PC port if not.

Not always. Some games have been unlocked with mods, other games like Okami still haven’t been able to be unlocked without breaking the game.

HAHA absolutely not, maybe if i was 14, it just saddens me a lot that a RTX 2080 owner (considering it’s true) still thinks 30 fps is smooth, Epic Store is good, PC Gaming is dying, console exclusives are the best games, and mostly use it to play Destiny 2, this is sad AF, other than whatever you have (A PS4 Slim bundled with Destiny 2 : 30 FPS Edition let’s be realistic) that doesn’t change anything in my life mate

Only Odyssey and Super Mario Maker 2 are Switch exclusive, the others are on the WiiU.
Most can be emulated as well, they’re ok at best, BOTW might be the worst of the bunch and the worst Zelda I have ever played outside the CDi games, it’s just Shadow of the Colossus but with generic as f*k survival mechanics and worse art design.
Lol Wii U with its little 14 million units sold i’m confident that if the dreamcast was able to live throughout the 6th gen of consoles it would have surpassed that number even.
