Tripwire Interactive announced today that they will be cycling in 3 more maps for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad’s beta phase. These new maps are: Grain Elevator ( the iconic battle site in the south of Stalingrad featuring long range infantry fighting outdoors and room to room close quarters combat inside ), Red October Factory ( night-time fighting in the factory ruins on an epic scale with infantry and tanks fighting side by side ) and Barracks ( a mix of close-quarter and medium-range combat, sure to be a fan favorite ). In addition, the company released seven new screenshots that can be viewed after the jump.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the "The Evolution of PC graphics cards."
