      1. We can expect that most of the time. No one owns PC, which means no one to pay devs to keep the game hostage. And that’s fine as long as the game is developed primarily for PC. What really annoys me is, when they ruin sequels like Crysis 2 or Deus Ex Invisible Wars for example.

        1. nah i dont think so, nothing stopped sony from grabbing both talos principle and the wtiness and porting hard resset for good measure.

    1. You guys make me wanna play SoTC ;p stop it! I don’t have a console, and that PS2 emulator just doesn’t work for me lol.

      I’m getting jealous. 🙂

      1. well you can for example play Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. it’s a more streamlined version of SotC with more hand holding and limits but it is probably the best clone so far. (don’t bother with it’s sequel though)

        1. I gotta check that game aswell. I also somehow skipped it? I think there were other games coming out during that year, and they held my attention for a longer time (i think)

      2. well i only played it on PS2 emulator and it was an amazing game with really bad frame rate both with emulator and original on PS2, if you have a PS3 then go for the remaster version if not watch it on youtube and bear that in mind the game is made for a 6th gen console.

        1. I guess i’ll check Youtube because i got no consoles pass NES lol. I’ve always been a PC gamer, and a WIi/Gamecube (emulators yay) gamer. Sadly the PS2 emulator just doesn’t wanna work on my new PC -.-

  1. Never played Shadow of The Colossus because well.. PC gamer for life and all.. so yeah. I’m interested in this game. I keep hearing a ton of praise when it comes to SoTC.

      1. If i can fix mine lol. I just wrote how the PS2 emulator crashes on my windows, and it is the only thing that do. I got some other emulators and they work fine, so i aint really sure wheres the problem yet.

      1. I did and it used to work on my older PC, altho it was a bit laggy cuz i had a crappy PC back then.. but now? Now it doesn’t work and it crashes on my Windows 7 64 bit. I gave up on trying a few weeks ago actually. I wanted to try out God Of War.

          1. Haha even If you do find it boring, I highly recommend at least trying the first three colossi. There is nothing quite like it that game, it’s a wonderful experience.

        1. it might be hard to comprehend but in the ps2 heyday this game was pretty unique. that did some pretty neat things technically like rudemty DOF and some other things that the ps2 had no business doing.

  2. PC exclusive? Make no sense for PC exclusivity. Devs/publishers get nothing from it. By the way i hate exclusive especially Sony & Microsoft. They should all die.

    1. But pc are becoming consoles with the rleease of Valve Steam machine in 2 weeks that in fact it will be pc at console size equipped with controller. So it will be avaliable on traditional pc and these new pc-consoles from valve . Just not on microsoft and sony consoles.

        1. They are pc at console sizes that can conected to a TV. Then can be used as a console and play witth Steam or a xbox controller. You can also install windows for all games to work and then we have the ultimate pc- console!!! The graphics quality, resolution modding e.t.c capabilitys of the PC but the small size, couch gaming and controllers of a console. They combine all the elements of both worlds! So from now on console gamers will not have any reason to complain aboout pc exvulives not being on ps4 or one! They will be simply playing them on Steam Machine with windows installed by using a Xbox or Steam Controller. The death of Xbox and PS is near!!! MUHAAAHHAHAHAHAHA

          1. You can do all of that with any PC. Connect joysticks, connect to TVs, Stream to devices, etc.

Steam Machines are nothing more than a branded and pre built PC, with the focus in providing a easier way to getting into PC gaming without the effort (and the fun IMO) of setting up a “console like experience” by yourself.

          2. Connecting a current pc to a tv is very hard due to the huge size they have. It is very difficult to fit it near tv and it is impossible to fit it under tv. That why most og us still have them in our desks on a 21,5-23” monitor. The steam machines however due their small size that is about the same as the consoles can fit very easy under tv. It is aimed to bring console gamers to pc. It if for those who dont have a gaming pc for whatever reason and pllay on consoles. Us PCgamers since we have already gaming pcs will continue using them and if we want to play in the living room we will just use a Steam Link.

          3. That’s why I have “without the effort”, if you want yo could built yourself a small factor PC that attend the same niche.
If I had the money I would do it right now.

          4. I would had also bought a Steam Link if i had better tv. But you see the TV is a 2005 32” 720P LCD while the pc monitor is a 2014 LG 21.5” 108P LED IPS 60 HZ. Because of that it is not worth to use the pc in such a old tv. For now i will still keep it in the my room at that monitor and when i buy a new tv i will also buy Steam Link and then play in the living room without the need to move it there.

      1. Consoles are slow PC’s, there is nothing special about them at all now, the only thing stopping them from being dead is a massive corp behind them, one of which is losing money big time. Consoles are surviving on their brand name alone.

  3. Yep that’s the One 😀
Try to finish that Game 😉
I have finished it ones, but with Amiga Emu (My Amiga is in the closet )
and with Save State option, but its verrrrry playable even today !

      1. It’s not pirat.eed enymore cuz’ its very Old 😀
I have in my attic real museum 😉
Atari 800XL, Commodore 128, AMIGA 500, AMIGA 4000, Nintendo N64, PSX 1, PS 2, Atari Jaguar, Dreamcast. Then after Years i stop collecting Consoles 😉 Only PC Now !
