Electronic Arts and PopCap Studios have announced the return of the iconic original strategy game with Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted. The fan favorite backyard brawler is coming to PC on October 23rd, and below you can find its debut gameplay trailer.
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted will have upscaled HD graphics, local co-op, and PvP modes. The game will take players back to the yard where it all started. It will combine strategic action-packed battles and all-new game modes with never-before-seen elements of the franchise.
Players will be able to team up with a friend for local co-op or play against each other in PvP mode for a chaotic, unforgettable adventure. They will also test their skills in Cloudy Day Mode, a brand new game feature limiting sunlight and planting abilities for a unique challenge.
The game will have numerous classic minigames along with the series’ signature lane-based defense mode. Plus, you will be able to discover a treasure trove of never-before-seen Plants vs. Zombies archive content to understand how Plants vs. Zombies took over the world.
As said, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted will be available on October 23rd. The game will come out on PC viathe EA app, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

Ah good ol' classic. Fond memories of it playing all day in my college times back in 2010. Shame it couldn't boom much from its very first release.
Why they ruin everything with multiplayer bs? To kill the game in the future!!!… Still play the old one, and works very good no multi no online bullshit.
It's been a while since I played the original release, but I remember it only supported low resolutions and 4:3 aspect ratios. Which is crazy because 16:9 was well established by 2009. As for the multiplayer, it sounds like it's local only.
