Pid Announced; New adventure platformer coming to the PC in 2012

Swedish indie studio, Might and Delight, announced today a partnership with Beefy Media for the development of an original adventure game, Pid. The game will be  released digitally in 2012 for several  platforms, including gaming consoles and PC. In addition, the company has just released its teaser trailer that can be viewed after the jump.
In the fantastic world of Pid, the player’s unique and eccentric  journey unfolds as the protagonist is  stranded on a remote planet. Players hone their gaming abilities  through creative approaches to gravitybending  action, intricate puzzle-solving and classic precision platform action,  overcoming larger-than-life  obstacles and surprisingly original enemy characters.
Throughout the  course of the adventures in Pid,  players will be challenged to outwit a variety of quirky robots and  befriend unlikely allies on their quest to  face-off against a ruler that has no intention of letting anyone leave  the planet.
It looks pretty cute, but then again, most indie games are cute, sexy and cool these days. Still, we can’t wait to get our hands on it!
