Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds targets an August 6th release according to Steam’s database

Obsidian’s RPG, The Outer Worlds, is a game that a lot of Fallout fans are waiting for. And from the looks of it, its release date may have been leaked by Steam’s database. According to the game’s SteamDB entry, Obsidian targets an August 6th release.

The game’s release date was revealed via a new SteamDB update from the developers. Now while Obsidian was quick to react and remove that release date, the game’s SteamDB history still includes and hints at the “August 6th” launch date.

The Outer Worlds is a player-driven story RPG in which your choices affect not only the way the story develops, but your character build, companion stories, and end game scenarios.

The game comes with a “Flaws” feature via which it tracks your experience to find what you aren’t particularly good at. This optional approach to the game promises to help players build the character they want while exploring Halcyon.

As always, take the game’s release date with a grain of salt as Obsidian has not announced anything official yet!

  1. Great, due to controversy surrounding the game and the game studio, I’m buying several copies. Can’t wait for the game to come out! Hopefully it will be a great game,

        1. Watch sargon’s lastest video “the people who like anita sarkeesian” where you got a numale feminist who is a fun of hers pretty much admiting that he doesnt care that the studios say games dont cause sexism and he doesnt care about facts, he says capitalism pushes away all the problems in media wit depiction of women and we suppose to pretend that there isnt a problem that needs to be fixed and that media is problematic and must change.

Of course explaining to these idiots that they reject reason and science and if they were liberal they wouldnt care that something their feminist religion founds “problematic” doesnt matter if it doesnt cause any damage in the real world and everyone should be able to enjoy what they like no matter how “immoral” some moralbusybodies think it is.

This is the part that the soyboy ask “what do these people want us to do?” and sargon says “Imagine you have a book study club of muslims studying the quran and then christians move in claiming they also want to sudy the quran but then they say that unless they accept christianity and throw away immoral islam, then they are christianphobic and must be expelled from the club, in the end people who want to study the quran leave and go somewhere else, so in conclusion, we want you to leave us alone”

But as you see they never will, they will destroy everything by trying to make sure everything appeals to their ideological benchmark to the world.

      1. Thanks. Looks troubling. There was similar stuff flying around when Andromeda was about to release and we all know how that turned out.
I noticed the uglified women in The Outer World trailers and gameplays already before this image which is not so good.

        1. I’m sure the game is completely and totally ruined despite showing no real instances of any of this being true.

I love that some average looking broads in video games trigger you guys so much that it makes you worried about the whole project now despite everything shown being great and highly praised by everybody.

      2. deadfire was horrible the fact you got those writing it is horrible but at least this game is stupid, like rick and morty, it doesnt take itself seriously like fallout. So it will be harder to ruin it, then again borderlands the presequel had torgue saying that frienzdone is not ok and its sexist.

Oh well, there is always dying light 2 who has Chris Avelone and wasteland 3.

      3. No I can’t link you to it since DSOG doesn’t allow you to link and has continually blocked my comments when ever I try too link for some reason.

I’ve seen it around various news sites talking about the game, and it’s the same accusations surrounding all Obsidian titles that have been released since Pillars Of Eternity.

Roflcake did just post one of the main images for it that I’ve seen thats a compilation of some key bi**hing points.

        1. i saw it, its hints, its not horrible but it gives you an idea of what “predictable” ideas these people will have. Hope i am wrong. But at this point i know what one of those progressive types is gonna say before they open their mouth.
