NVIDIA shares a teaser, most likely for its upcoming Ampere RTX 30 series GPUs

NVIDIA has just shared a teaser for… something. While the green team did not reveal any additional details, we can only assume that this teaser is for its upcoming Ampere RTX 30 series graphics cards.

This teaser does not really show much. Still, it’s at least good knowing that NVIDIA is gearing up for an announcement.

From what we know so far, NVIDIA may reveal its new Ampere GPUs on September 9th. This come from GamersNexus sources, and my guess is that this teaser is a response to that “leak“. Moreover, we expect the green team to release these new GPUs on September 17th.

NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 3000 series Ampere cards might also be built on Samsung’s 8nm process node. Nvidia has also stated that gamers should expect ‘Ampere’ graphics cards to arrive on the GeForce Now streaming service.

We’ve heard a lot of rumors about the new NVIDIA Ampere GPUs these past few weeks. Still, we believe it’s best to share only rumors from reputable sources (which is why we shared the GamersNexus story). We also expect to see numerous new rumors about the new Ampere GPUs in the next couple of weeks.

Let’s hope that there will be at least some leaked gaming benchmarks prior to the official announcement.

Stay tuned for more!

    1. I’m hoping prices are more reasonable, this last gen every “tier” got more expensive while value to performance barely improved at all.

      1. your absolutely right about that I expected last gen to be twice as powerful as what we got in the end, if you see the price for 2080 and 2080 ti its a lot but performance wise its totally not worth it, we know the prices for this won’t be lower definitely but at least they should give us a GPU where its worth the price for performance

    2. New tech is always expensive at first. The early adopters pay the cost for the R&D that went into it but I do think Nvidia was overcharging even on top of that. With AMD bringing RTRT tech forward there will be competition and competition is always good for consumers. I expect the MSRP of the Amperes will be lower. Mr. Huang has already said that sales of the Turings didn’t meet expectations.

But the wrench in the works is if mining takes off again. Then there will definitely be shortages and retailers will price gouge.

    1. I hear ya, my 980ti has been an awesome card, but it’s really shown it’s age the last year. Time to get my RTX on.

      1. You must be damn rich then, haha ! ? On a serious note, I’m not sure how will NVIDIA price their flagship Ti GPU !!

They are going to be expensive for sure, unless AMD’s so-called Big Navi poses a serious threat to Nvidia, lol.

          1. The Ti GPUs were never intended for mainstream gamers. They are for the very, very few 4K gamers. The majority of gamers are on 1080p and an entry level to midrange GPU is fine for that depending on what settings you’re comfortable with.

          2. i feel like i’m missing out on something if i don’t get them despite the fact that i’m not playing any video games these days.

    1. Here is a catch though !

That date would suggest that an announcement will be made on August 31, which would be the same day the Nvidia GeForce 256, the company’s first GPU, was released 21 years ago, in 1999.

      1. Isn’t STG-200 and Riva their first GPUs? Or You meant first GeForce GPU?
I also had a Hercules GF 256 with SDR (faster model had DDR).
