Hello Games has just released a new massive update for No Man’s Sky. According to the release notes, this patch comes with improved visuals including new high resolution textures, improved lighting and ambient occlusion, as well as a Photo Mode.
Hello Games has also introduced a brutally difficult new game mode called Permadeath. When gamers die in this difficulty mode, their saves will be wiped and they will have to start from the beginning.
This new update for No Man’s Sky also introduces new vehicles, called Exocraft, that enable explorers to travel at great speed across their home planets and allow navigation of even the most inhospitable terrains.

Let me tell you why, because there are a ton of survival games outhere. The devs could have abandonded this game and moved on, but instead of that they add stuff. At some point some one will buy it at a low price and it will have lots of stuff in it, in that way the game has value. So many things were added in this game since it came out, they keep adding stuff, so thumbs up from me to the devs.

Nope, they’ve been pretty steadily developing and releasing expansions and patches for the game ever since launch.
I go /care as much as the next guy, but yeah, like durka durka said, it’s interesting to see this pop up on the front page once in a while, unlike, say, ARK.
It won’t save their reputation, obviously, but at least they’ve still got enough dignity left to actually finish the damn thing for the people who fell for No Man’s Lies, since they’re not doing refunds, rather than just declaring it dead & moving on to something else (which they can’t, anyway, since it won’t sell 10 copies after this EPIC FAIL!

I tried it on release and now (ofc didn’t buy it after this huge flop), there is a vast improvement in how the game works, how it looks and etc. Still it is not much more for me than just some exploration for fun when I am bored. I think it may be a nice thing to give to children so they can fly in the spaceship, explore planets and discover all of those funny animals.
