No, DICE and Electronic Arts have not teased recently Battlefield 6 or Battlefield 3 Remaster

Some rumors surfaced last week, suggesting that Electronic Arts was planning to unveil either Battlefield 6 or Battlefield 3 Remaster. As you may have noticed, though, we didn’t really pay attention to this rumor. And, as we correctly predicted, this rumor was fake.

Twitter user “TEET” has admitted that this was a prank and nothing more.

Now obviously some may wonder why someone would do such a thing. And, the simple answer is because he/she can. I’m pretty sure that most Battlefield fans are now disappointed, but hey… there was a reason why we didn’t share that rumor.

Speaking of Battlefield 3 Remaster, there was a rumor for this back in June 2020. According to that rumor, Battlefield 3 Remaster will launch with all of its DLC content. However, we don’t know whether EA still plans to release such a remaster.

From what we know so far, there won’t be a new Battlefield main game in 2020. As such, a remaster of an older title sounds like the best way via which the EA and DICE can keep Battlefield fans busy until the next-gen BF game comes out.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. How could a Battlefield 3 Remaster possibly be of any benefit? The engine isn’t even that old. Also, who even plays BF3 instead of the superior BF4?

    1. It would be ported to the latest build of frostbite engine. BF3 had the best maps and worst weapons, BF4 had the worst maps but the best weapons. And yes, both the games are still active especially after being released on steam

    1. I didn’t like BFV from the time it was revealed. BF3, BF4 and BF1 are still my favorites and go to games for a few rounds.
