NINJA GAIDEN Sigma feature

Ninja Gaiden Collection’s Ninja Gaiden Sigma is based on the PS3 version

When KOEI Tecmo announced Ninja Gaiden Collection, there were some rumors suggesting that Ninja Gaiden Sigma would be based on the PSVita version. However, KOEI Tecmo has confirmed that it has used the PS3 version and not the PSVita version.

Now while this is good news, Ninja Gaiden Collection PC will be a barebones port and nothing more.

According to producer Fumihiko Yasuda, this collection will not support keyboard and mouse, and will require a gamepad. Not only that, but the game will not feature an extensive amount of graphics settings. And although the game will support 4K and 60fps, you should not expect unlocked framerates.

The NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection brings the entire Sigma series to PC, allowing fans and newcomers alike to experience the tale of “super ninja” Ryu Hayabusa as he battles deadly fiends causing chaos around the world.

This collection will release on PC on June 10th.

  1. Why japanese tend to lose the source codes of their old games?
(I heard rumors it was inside sabotage and it happened years ago)
First silent hill hd collection now this…
Well at least sigma 1 is good and sigma 2 is not bad even with less gore, i wonder if they can use the psvita sigma 2 because this one had gore restored.

lmao, Koei Tecmo didn’t lose s**t

“lost the source code” is the blanket excuse they’ll use to quickly answer any forthcoming criticisms and complaints regarding censorship and of course to prevent anyone bringing up the issue

  2. censored rubbish

apparently Koei Tecmo claims to have “lost the data” of the non-Sigma versions of the Ninja Gaiden games, making the Sigma versions (the censored ones) the only viable copies

    what a coincidence eh

    1. I don’t think it’s much of a conspiracy to think they lost the source code, a better question would be why not implement the features of Black series in the PC version, along with some basic stuff like Keyboard and mouse controls.

      1. you know what the current climate is right now within the Western games industry, it’s basically been fear-mongered by SJWs and feminists for almost the last decade

the situations with DOAX3 and DOA6 prove that Koei Tecmo are terrified of sjws

therefore i am not buying the “lost the source code” bs, it’s far too much of a coincidence

unrelated, but if i remember correctly, Konami also made this excuse with one or some of their games

      2. Well it is so low effort that i might even believe KT, but what prevents them from picking the Sigma source code or whatever and implementing features from the xbox, other than lazyness?
