New Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint Update will add AI Teammates

Ubisoft has announced that a new update for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will add support for AI Teammates. This new AI mode will most likely work similar to the one found in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. Moreover, the French company has released a teaser trailer for this mode that you can find below.

With this new mode, players will be able to form their team and become a Ghost. Players will be part of an elite team of US Special Forces soldiers trapped behind enemy lines. Players will fight with their squad against the Wolves, and become stronger together.

Ubisoft stated that it will fully reveal this AI Teammates Mode on July 12th, during its Ubisoft Forward event. My guess is that the team will also reveal its release date during that event.

As we’ve already stated, Ubisoft Forward is Ubisoft’s digital event that will replace its cancelled E3 2020 press conference. During this event, the team will reveal new gameplay trailers for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion. Speaking of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you can find 30 minutes of leaked gameplay footage.

Furthermore, Watch Dogs 2 will be available for free during this event. Also, Ubisoft will most likely reveal Far Cry 6.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I gotta say, props to Ubi for not abandoning the game after a disastrous launch. Maybe if they fix the enemy AI enough it’ll be worth it someday? I love the idea of a game like this, like a big free range MGSV, but the 8 hours or so I played with the preview just before launch were just not good. Wildlands was fun for what it was, but Breakpoint went off in the wrong direction in so many ways.

Maybe they’ll do another free weekend sometime. Unless it uses Denuvo. That’s still a deal breaker.

    1. The thing is, I don’t think Breakpoint was made with AI teammates in mind. Sure there’s co-op but unlike Wildlands the whole campaign can be played solo.

      1. As I wrote above: “Maybe if they fix the enemy AI enough it’ll be worth it someday?”

  2. Just a reminder that Ubisoft delayed this update for months just so they would have something to show at the event this week

  3. Division, Breakpoint, Wildlands are the same game so it’s ridiculous for them to have taken this long to implement AI. They were probably waiting for the playerbase to completely die down to attempt to resurrect the game by releasing delayed major features

  4. Just a reminder that they delayed this update for months just to they would have something to show at the Ubi conference

  5. Release a game in a broken state and spend the next couple of years fixing and adding features that should have been at launch.

    Great industry.

  6.
