Yesterday, Bethesda teased a new Fallout game and today, the publisher released an official teaser trailer for it. This new Fallout game will be called Fallout 76 and its teaser trailer showcases visuals similar to Fallout 4. Bethesda claimed that more details about Fallout 76 will be revealed at E3 2018.
Kotaku’s Jason Schreier who appears to have inside information stated that everyone who expects Fallout: 76 to be a new traditional single-player RPG will be very disappointed. As such, this could either be Fallout Online, a new package of Fallout 4 for different/existing platforms or a new expansion for Fallout 4

If it’s not a spin-off like NV, then it’s going to be a yet another game limited by Gamebryo.
Was fallout 4 running on gamebryo?
A modified version called Creation Engine, yeah.
At this point i dont think it qualifies as gamebryo.
It’s still Gamebryo. Just like how the half life engine GoldSrc is technically a modified version of the Quake engine.
which does look like the quake engine fallout 4 does not look like gamebryo.

I think its no longer gamebryo.
At it’s foundation, it still very much is, no matter how many like to argue otherwise.
If it’s only taking place in Vault 76, could be a more linear shooter with light RPG elements, which would be a much better fit for BGS considering they can’t make a proper RPG to save their life. Expectations are still very low, but hopefully it’s a pleasant surprise.
I’m sure the online thing is more likely, just seems a little strange to me considering the studio hasn’t done anything with multiplayer since Battlespire.
I highly doubt it will be a linear shooter. I think it’s more likely they’ll be emphasizing the building elements that were introduced in 4 and Fortnite’s popularity only helps my prediction. Plus there’s the line “…you must rebuild” in the trailer.
