It appears that Electronic Arts will officially reveal the next part in the Need for Speed franchise in two days. The publisher has added a counter on the game’s official page that ends on August 14th. As such, we can safely assume that EA will announce Need for Speed 2019 on that day.
To be more precise, the counter will end on Wednesday August 14th 2019 at 15:00:00 GMT+0100. Unfortunately, the source code of the web page does not provide any additional details about the new NFS game.
From what we know so far, Ghost Games is working on this new NFS game. Moreover, Electronic Arts plans to release this new racing game in 2019.
According to an earlier leak, Need for Speed 2019 may be called Need for Speed Heat.
It will be interesting to see whether this new NFS game will be worth the wait or not. The last Need for Speed game was Need for Speed Payback that came out in 2017. To be honest, I didn’t really like Payback as its driving mechanics were awful.
Here is hoping that Ghost Games will focus on making the game fun, instead of trying to offer a “blockbuster” movie-like racing game.

At the end of the day, you buy the game to race, I rather great gameplay than a story that isn’t forever, now as noted, FM8 and FH5, should be upgrades in all aspects .

FH4 single player mode is a non appealing #earnfollowers. More pleasure to play with FH3 than with FH4.
Microsoft store is, as well, a huge cons.
After a clean install of W10, you have to download once again your game because it’s locked.
We can add to the list the famous start screen crash.

NFS series has been dead since NFS 4 High Stakes. Only NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 contained some of the previous magic. Even Driveclub had more NFS in itself than the actual NFS. It simply lacks exotic tracks and cars for which it was known for.
NFS 2010 was damn good, really awesome…. but then again, it was done by Criterion games (the studio behind Burnout Paradise), not Ghost Games. EA DESTROYED Criterion since then, and there’s not a single soul from their original staff in there anymore and, to make things worse, this Ghost Games studio is pure trash.
